It is Monday....

the person that we hired just faxed over a letter letting us know that she will no longer be working for us (and can we please mail her her paycheck?).
it is a slow day, and i have nothing to do and none to talk to.

up to that point only my boss and i worked here, however we realized that there was a lot of work that had to be done and we needed help.

I'm not buying it! That people left the Witnesses and became Christians.

i am sorry, but even if you deny the whole witness faith, there is still parts to christianity that they pointed out that you can not just ignore and act like it is okay to join another faith that is christian.
are you going to become catholic when your know their history?

Isolated & disconnected once outside

or do you find it easy to just get on with it?
having lost all the jw friends, you find that you can't bring yourself to let others get too close, even pushing them away (old habbit dying hard).

Elder Abuse and Special Committees
by twinflame ini thought i would share an experience from the congregation i was assosiated with in utah.
about 17 years ago i caught my 15-year-old stepson molesting my 3-year-old daughter.
of course, the first action taken was to call the elders.

I have seen/heard of things like these. I sometimes wonder if stuff like this happens because of how isolated witness kids are. Limited association, no dating until one is ready to be married, even then all the chaperones rules and regulations. But then again it is Jehovahs perfect organization, right? everyone everywhere should all easily fit into the proper mold.
Just my thoughts on the subject. In no way should anything like this be excused, but witness kids aren't brought up in a normal healthy social environment at all.
