I was watching Freakshow on Comedy Central last night. They had a witness lady crazily waving an Awake saying how she wants to play with lions. Good stuff.

Questions...
by Aequitus indo jehovah's witnesses believe that the earth is 6000 years old, or 4.5 billion?
and if adam and eve were the first people on the earth, how would the multitude of races come about from the inbreeding of adam and eve's children?
and during this time, people became wildly dispersed across the planet and adopted various other religions.

No, they don't believe in the earth being only 6000 years old. It is funny though how they admit that the universe could "even be millions" of years old. The official line (if I remember right) on Adam and Eve is that after they sinned they were still so close to being perfect that their offspring wouldn't have any inbred genetic imperfections. The "being so close to perfect" answers the long life span too.

Apostates/ex-jw's do you think that you are "addicted" to JW's-bashing?
by booker-t inif your best friend constantly bashed her ex-husband to you daily would you go nuts and tell her to move on with her life?
most people would probably say yes!
but why can't apostates and ex-jws do the same with the watchtower society?

Is it wrong to expose a doomsday cult for what it is?

It happened again!!
by Scully inso i was at the supermarket today, and rang my groceries through the self-serve cash register.
i paid as i normally do, using my atm card, and requested $15 cash back.. when i picked up my cash from the machine, not only was there a $5 bill and a $10 bill, but five $20 bills too!!
i brought the extra money back to the cashier in charge of the self-serve registers, thinking that someone who rang through ahead of me may have forgotten to take their money and just might come back hoping to find it.

Ok, maybe I liked it too much since it was the best translation of a Alan Moore book to movie. You should just read the book(comic-book). And don't you mean that you forgot that you weren't on the "NETS"?

Did any of you ever have "overzealous"parents?
by Ex-Jo Ho inthis may have been discussed before but did any of you have crazy strict parents...i mean did they have even more strict ideas than what the religion already had put restrictions on?.
my stepfather had been a crazy drug/alcohol addict before dragging my family into the "truth"...then it seemed he became obsessed with the religion.
honestly...i don't know which was worse!

Any active dub disappointment 'bout lack of persecution from the CRAP TRACT
by Kudra inyou know, they were all riled up and saying that the tract would precipitate armageddon and all.
have any of them even noticed that no one batted an eye in response to the "campaign"?
isn't the tract-work supposed to be over now?

I'm thinking that if other religions even saw it, they didn't want to say anything as it would look like they were pointing and laughing at the retarded kid.
