of course were all so familiar with the way the society covers up it tracks and it has taken a lot of work to expose its coruption.. but are there more sinister discoveries awaiting?.
why is the society so keen to cover up peadophilia in the organisation?.
does it reach higher than we are presently aware?.
What other religeous organization has shareholders? Who are they? According to some, they are not all JWs. Where does all the money go, and who controls it? Are the people at the top really the people at the top...or are the real leaders controling things from behind the scene? What is the real purpose of this organization? Surely not to lead people to God. Their policies and behavior prove that beyond any shadow of a doubt. Is it just a business masquerading as a religeon, or something more sinister?
I am sure there is a way to research this. Some is public information. But where to start? Wish I had the time and resources.
The FBI files on the Borg contain over 12,000 pages. Found that out over 10 years ago, but didn't have the $ to pay for the 10 cents per copy...or the time to read it all. Forgot about that 'till just now.
Freedom of information stuff. There's probably a lot more, like CIA files, and paperwork that must be filed when corporations are formed.

cause we all know that "peace & safety" is the last sign.. and i already mention that it's on a very low scale, it's come but has'nt passed yet(when billions believe everything is safe)... .
i believe it will come in my life time, i'm only 20 years old and i damn sure aint going to die... luke- 21-36 < is the way that you can survive up to the day of christ day....what y'all think?

If your faith is in an organization, it is misplaced. If it is in having all the answers, it is misplaced. I have complete faith in God.
My faith in God gives me the peace of mind to ignore all the false prophets. My faith also gives me the freedom to admit that I don't have all the answers, but I know the One who does. I trust Him. Humans will fail you. Your own "knowledge" will fail you. He never will. Put your faith where it belongs.

My grandparents, (in the borg from 1910 until their deaths) believed just as strongly that they were in the last days, and that armageddon was just around the corner and would absolutely come in their lifetime. They were wrong. My parents believed the same thing right up until their deaths in the late '70s. They were wrong.
You can believe anything you want to, but it doesn't make it fact.
They cited the same scriptures you do, and thought they knew just as much. (probably more...having been in it so long...and my Dad with an IQ that was off the charts) But it didn't happen. Learn from their mistake.

well now we have it, what appears to be the pre-emptive strike from wt.. as of this friday three families who appeared on the dateline program have been informed judicial committees have been setup with a one week notice and it is alleged that they have been causing "divisions" within the organization.
i got my letter today, barbara anderson got hers yesterday and the other family earlier this week.. if you were a pr firm would you think it to be a good idea or a bad idea to df everyone a couple of weeks before the dateline program airs?
what do you think the american public will think of such a move?.

Double edge asked you a good question. If your claim is true, then as a representative of the organization, you should be able to give a clear, explanation. You shouldn't need a book to do the explaining for you, and he or she shouldn't have to wait for the next jw visit.

what is the true religion anyone have a clue?.
i would love to know, if anyone does have a clue; being a witness most of my life it gave me this feeling like i really was in the true religion and god really was with me cause i belonged to the "true religion.. i have noticed that witness's say the elders were appointed by holy spirit, how do they know did they see it, it just dawned on me that all of it has been based on the premise that i had to have faith in what they say rather then substantiated facts; all of what they say simply put is nothing more then words, contrived by men only, if you tell them this you get the treatment like your going to be destroyed which is paramount to going and burning in hell.
I think it's interesting that Jesus didn't set up any kind of pecking order. He could have set up a system with titles for those spiritually governing the rest. He didn't. Instead, He said to follow Him. It wasn't until after He was crucified that this notion of having to set up titles and responsibilities started.
He made it simple...a relationship with Him...one that transforms you from the inside...changing your heart...and your life...motivating you to be guided by Him in all you think and say and do.

in high school, one friend of mine was offended by flowers for algernon because of the sex bits and refused to take it as part of the english curriculum.
he even gave an experience about it at a ca.
so those of us in the other english classes that year kinda had to refuse to do it too.
Up until 3rd grade, my mother would take me in early to explain to the teacher that I wouldn't be saluting the flag or participating in birthday celebrations, or anything that remotely resembled a holiday.
In third grade, she decided that I was old enough to explain it to my teacher myself. (I had already given talks at the hall) I remember standing at my desk shaking and crying because I had no idea what to say to the teacher. She noticed, and took me out in the hall where I tried to explain. She was kind, but from that moment on I knew there would be many more days like that. When someone brought in cake for a party, I had to go to an empty classroom and color. The kids treated me well though, for some reason.
In the sixth grade, we moved to an affluent suburb. What a nightmare. I went home crying every single day. I was a total outcast, and threatened often. That year I became an introvert.
Everything about me was ridiculed daily. I remember thinking that I was being persecuted for Jehovah.
It got better eventually. But that year left its mark on me, even till now. School was not a pleasant experience. Until College.
I went for 1 year. I loved it! My dad, though a very prominent elder, was very pro-education. Funny though, I was ostricised in the congregation, not in college that year.
