Coheed and Cambria
OK, if I'm being serious, I'd have to go with Pink Floyd...
Iron Maiden close second, but that's just me personally.

Hey! I think we were shunned the other day...
by jgnat inhubby had a loud confrontation with the elders last week.
by pure coincidence we ran in to a few jw's this weekend while walking the dog.
the first family welcomed us with warm christian hospitality.

Worldy people cause car accidents? huh. must've been a worldy person disguised as an elder, of over 30 years, that scraped up the side of my car at the memorial three years ago...

How many more years do you think you have left to live?
by JH in.
since i'm relatively healthy, don't smoke, hardly drink (2 beers a day), and if i base myself on my grandparents and parents age, i think that i should live up to anywhere between 85 and 95. which means i should have another 40 to 50 years of posting here.

I'm going to live forever. (Trust me that miracle cure for everything is just around the corner)
Or more likely I'm probably going to kick it in the next ten years, I got some mountain climbing scheduled, bunjee jumping is a must, and of course I'm gonna learn to skydive.

Breasts are great, but remember......they're attached to someone. You've got to get to know who that someone is because breasts are only part of the package.
So, what you mean is, be nice to the owner of the breasts, otherwise they won't let you play with them?

Incredible logic of an unfiltered child (or "I'm so proud of my boy!")
by AlmostAtheist ingina and i were reading over jwd when zach (my 7-yr-old) came in and asked what we were doing.
i explained that i was reading about how a man came to be a jw, and how he managed to get out.
(auldsoul, good story so far!

What really gets on my nerves is people like my nan and granddad, who have been wronged so many times by the society, but still faithfully plod along, and still give so much each month, even though they're on the breadline themselves, they'd rather go without and contribute to the bOrg. We read in the paper, practically every day about con artists forcing money out of helpless pensioners on their doorstep, the WTBTS is no different, the only difference is they're conning old people out of money in the name of god.

When I was about ten or eleven I used to put half my pocket money in each week. I'm really pissed now, because I could've done so much more with that money.

CHEATING ON FIELD SERVICE
by chuckyy intowards the end of my time as a jw, i must confess to cheating whilst out on field service.. 1. i would turn up at the field service arrangement with my wife, and we would say that we were working together that day to do return visits.
as everyone went out, we would simply get into our car and drive home.
(hypocritical i know).

And when you get someone weak enough to offer you a cup of tea, you take it and spend the rest of the afternoon there, clocking up ministry time, when actually you talk about the bible only for about 15 minutes... That was a favourite of mine. I liked to try and get a return visit that I could count on to take up some time for me... Some of the cups of tea were pretty damn good.
