  Current procedure for jw infants regarding blood - any info?

  with the new year coming around, i am getting ready to (possibly) deal with the blood-card issue regarding my 5-month old first-born (my wife is a jw).

  does anyone know, do they expect parents to fill out a dpa or a medical directive for infants, or is that only for publishers and up?

  i can't believe i don't know this.

  Fundraisers, Family, and Other Priorities

  i'm sitting here alone today while my wife, my family, and the majority of the people i have grown up around are at the district convention.

  my absence is considered a strong statement about where my loyalties lie.

  in the last few months i have had a good friend take his life.

  i was talking with my wife last night about the structure of the organization, and had a random thought.

  i'm not picking on elders, because i know some elders i really like.

  this is aimed at the hypocrisy of the performance-based atmosphere at the kingdom hall.. here are some things you do not have to really possess to become an elder:.

  but, we went to a hall on the other side of town where we didn't know anybody.

  i had my goatee going full force.

  Mix JWs with a crazy HOA..........

  on top of all the rumors and gossip that have been spread around since i quit going to meetings, i am now getting borderline harassed by the witness who lives a couple doors down.

  he happens to be on the hoa board, and he is a total prick who loves to point the finger.

  i have now gotten three letters for violations which are completely false.

  for those who are fading, do you feel the pressure building as the memorial approaches?

  family members who otherwise are busy with their own interests suddenly start paying more attention, dropping hints and holding their breath as it were.
