Of course there are "hidden" images in the pictures. Man, if you think that's something, you ought to see the hidden images in children's books! Not only that, but they're there in real photographs. Actually, on a day with good cumulus clouds you can see thousands of them in the sky!
Now, we all know that the artists deliberately put those images in the pictures in the publications. But how do you account for all those images in the clouds?
Oh yeah, don't forget that famous image of satan's face in the smoke from the twin towers. I mean, that was even on the cover of National Inquirer!
Evil surrounds us... it's everywhere... no place is safe... go into your bedroom and cower in the corner, curled in a fetal ball... it's coming to get you... yaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

"silent lambs" speak out: child abuse alleged within jehovah's witnesses
downey -- two local women from a group calling themselves the "silent lambs" made a symbolic gesture monday, hanging a stuffed lamb doll on the door of the kingdom hall in downey; a move meant to protest alleged cases of child abuse within the jehovah's witnesses religious order.
"More than 5,000 adults have come forward claiming they were abused by the elders," says Cynthia Hampton
Um... I think they were just claiming they were abused and the elders mishandled it. Some were abused by elders, but not all. That's my understanding, anyway.
i have a question that has puzzled me since i got my large print bible...... in genesis 2:17 it states.... but as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.".
the footnote reads.... lit.. " dying you will die.
" okay i understand that... .
It means the guys who wrote these oral traditions down had trouble expressing themselves clearly, and didn't bother to elaborate.

if you've never carved pumpkins- it's a blast!!!.
and then: pumpkin seeds!!!!!!!.
Here are some more highlights from Halloween past:
GF Sharron doles out the goodies. The guy in the tray is Poor Yorick. The kiddies had to reach around him to get their treats.
We were visited by some ghoulies...
Some of the friendly neighborhood gangstas stopped by...
Contrary to what you might think, the visitor in red is not wearing any Halloween attire. She's just reached that age where the Latino community here starts putting makeup on their little girls and dressing them up as tarts. By the time she's 15 she'll have three kids of her own.
i have announced i am on a crusade to encourage skeptics to think on the issue in a way they probably have never done before.
i initially have made the mistake of cramming everything into one, two or three posts.
this i should have immediately recognized is an impossibilty because what i have in mind requires a great amount of meditation to fu;;y comprehend.
Do not you believe in the power of prayer?
Yes, do not I. My lack of belief is based on a lifetime of trying. Don't you dare bring up any of that crap you guys always fall back on, about not having right motive or not doing it the right way or not asking for the right things. I had it right. Never got even the slightest hint of an answer, not even so much as the clearing of a throat.
Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? If so why?
Because I see no reason not to.
Do you believe a law of reciprocity (reaping what you sow) exists? If so who or what enforces these laws?
If you jump off a tall building, it's just possible that an airplane might fly by and catch you, or that you'll land on an awning unscathed; but chances are you're going to splatter. Gravity enforces this.
They [are] housed in a body which is the vehicle for taveling through the earh experience.
Pure bullshit. We are flesh and nothing else. This is why our moods and behavior can be changed by chemicals or electrical stimulation.
Are any emotions positive or negative unique to the individual or are the shared universlly?
Emotions are dictated by your chemical makeup. For corroboration, check this out with anyone who suffers from clinical depression and takes medication that helps with it.
These emotions are all spirits having personality.
You are sadly deluded.
today i visited my jw mother and i asked her a question.
i said, "mom if i was to get married would i be disfellowshiped?
" she said "well since you didn't have scriptual grounds for your divorce i would guess that if you went ahead and got married you would be committing adultery.
Why argue about it, Alchemist? Why even bring it up? Just present yourself to your mom with your family, and act as though you think it's the most normal, acceptable thing in the world. If she's got problems with it, let her work them out for herself. Your stance, which should be presented as "taken for granted" rather than "in your face", is simply that this is who you are and where you are, and therefore this is the son your mom must love and accept.
here's yet another list of why it's soooooooooo good to be a man.
your ass is never a factor in a job interview.
your orgasms are real.
You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park.
T-shirt, hell! You can go without a shirt.

where do i begin...well first let me say that i have similar situations with others on this board because i am involved with someone who is a witness.
as i stated in my title, i am not.
i am also a newbie to this board, and i am curious as to know if there is anyone out there who was a non-jw who converted and is glad that they did so?
Hi, butterfly. I was a non-JW, raised as a Southern Baptist, who was found in field service and got baptized as a JW at age 22. The first year I was in was pretty good, and the succeeding 10 years were a progressively worse hell on earth until finally I had to leave in order to keep my sanity and the shattered remnants of my self-respect. Unfortunately, when I left I still believed it was The Truth, so the only reason I could figure why I couldn't make it in there was that God just didn't want me. That reasoning led me to become an alcoholic, drinking to deaden myself enough to try to function. I stayed drunk for 8 years, had a car wreck while drunk, and got put into court-ordered treatment, where the classes they taught gave me some skills for living life that helped me take control of myself and get back on track with living a happy life.
I'm 49 years old. The past seven of those years have been very happy ones. I can't say what would have happened in my life if I'd never become a witness, but I can tell you for a fact that my choice to become one caused me great grief and misery and effectively wasted 20 years of my life.
