Counseling would be good, man. It takes effort, you know. First you have to track down a counselor, then you have to set up the appointment, then you have to actually go to it. And then, you have to keep on going. And thinking about the stuff you guys discover. Maybe even doing some mental-emotional exercises at home.

You have to want it to work, to do that. It's easy to just blow it off, sit at home cruising websites and letting your marriage stagnate and breed tiny monsters beneath the surface.

i just happened on this place a few days ago, and thought i would stop in to see what it was all about.

it claims to be a jehovah's witness forum, which it is not.. dont want to come here and point fingers, as i am sure there are some good people in here, just seems the bad have followed the good.

i guess in reality thats always the case, but hey, what else would these people do if they couldn't wage their little war on the truth.

Well, redline, you certainly don't have any shortage of replies in this thread. There's more here than I care to read. That's why, if you choose not to answer my post, I'll understand; there's so very much here to answer.

All the same, since you have made the claim about me personally, I am moved to call your bluff on it. Respond or don't, as you see fit; readers will draw their own conclusions.

keep in mind, now, i haven't been out in field service since sometime in early 1987.. this morning i headed off out the door and down the stairs, cheerful and ready to tackle the day.

got to my ride, and realized i had forgotten to pick up the case that contains my laptop and paperwork.

so, back up the stairs, in the door.

obviously a lot of you are no longer jws, for whatever reason, but surely you can find something better to do with your time.

you seem to spend a lot of your spare time slating the society or picking holes in your former beliefs.. if you've left and think what jws believe is a load of rubbish, thtat fine, you cn do what you want, but why you have to go on about it?

if being a jw means so little to you, why not just leave it behind and get on with your life?

To add to what Kismet said: Shelby is a drama queen, in need of at least as much attention as You Know. She doesn't handle rejection with quite the finesse that he does, but she's improving with practice. This "leaving" scene is apparently a favorite of hers. On H2O, she announced her departure no less than three times under various names, only to return again under a different name later. When confronted about being the same person with a different name, she at first tried to deny it but finally caved in and admitted to it.

She'll be back here, too... there's to much potential attention here for her to avoid it for long.
