by twinflame inwell, i've been lurking and reading here for months now and decided i miss this place.
i didn't remember my login email or password so i had to try three different email accounts before i finally found my password and could log back in.
looks like i'm limited to two topics a day so i guess i won't be boring anybody!

Extro or Intro? and Why do you think that is?
by Crumpet ini've noticed a few people on here saying that they don't mix well or prefer not to - there's a particular bird avatar i have in mind and its not the emu but the name escapes me (w?).
i'm interested to know if since you left the borg you find yourself extrovert or introvert?
what effect did your upbrining have?

I'm a very strong introvert in rl. Board posting makes me less self conscious. I remember at the KH just sitting there and only talking to people who came to talk to me even after years of being in the same hall. People probably thought I was a snob but really, I just have a hard time approaching people.

What view did you have of apostates when you were a JW?
by bull01lay ini can remember being an attendant at one of the circuit assemblies in nottingham, where a group of pentecostals were picketing out by one of the gates.
i was intrigued for a short while, until a guy in a motorised wheelchair type thing, tried to get into the assembly by ramming himself into us.
i could of quite happily baptised him in the trent !!

........URGENT REQUEST....PLEASE READ...............
by vitty ina couple of weeks back horrible life, alerted us to the fact that she needed to clean her house and if anyone saw here here posting, they must tell her to stop and get on with her jobs
i too have an urgent request, im moving house tomorrow and i need to pack, clean my fridge, and do other much needed jobs.
i cant afford to spend time here.

Anniversary of sorts today, 6 years since I left
by dedpoet inyes, it is 6 years today since i entered a kingdom hall for the very last time, and with each passing year this particular "anniversary" gets happier.
even better this time, i have so many people to share it with who have had the same kind of jw experiences as me, in the past the friends i have made since leaving the lie kind of acknowledged it, but didn't really understand, so i just want you all to share in my joy today.

Mention of Jehovah's Witnesses in popular entertainment
by enderby ini don't know if this thread has been done before, but can anybody think of times that jehovah's witnesses were made mention of or joked about in music, tv, or movies?
for example,there are a couple of simpsons episodes, one were marge alludes to being so desperate for company that jehovah's witnesses ran away when she went to get them more lemonade.
another time, two jw's approach the simpsons' house and one turns to the other just before ringing the doorbell and asks "ruby, do you ever think we should get real jobs?".
