  does a female kingdom publisher need to wear a head covering if she conducts a bible study in the presence of a male publisher?.

  in a questions from readers item published in the watchtower of july 15, 2002, it was stated that a sister should cover her head if she conducts a bible study in the presence of a male publisher, whether he is baptized or not.

  further consideration of the matter suggests that a modification to this direction is appropriate.. if the male publisher who accompanies the sister while she conducts an established bible study is baptized, the sister would certainly want to wear a head covering.

  i always wondered, can god read our thoughts?

  if he can then why cant satan?.

  i was told by my mother that god can read our minds, but satan cant satan can only hear our words and see our motives and what we do,.

  Praying allows people feel like they are helping a situation whilst applying the very least amount of effort possible in rectifying it; with that in mind it would be best not to pray out loud as this may exert too much effort.

  I really "couldn't care less" about you being pissed off. No one has called you racist and yet again you claim it, do you have a persecution complex?

  You must have a very simple grasp of language to assume that I was suggesting "simply refering to "gay people" is a sure sign of homophobia". Do you need everything explained to you? You generalised when you lumped gay people together when you said "but theylose support when theytry to ramrod theirbeliefs down people's throats who simply believe differently."

  "Taking the side of freedom of religion is not homophobic."

  Freedom of religion is complex and is about more than allowing the practice of religion, however allowing churches to discriminate against Gay people is homophobic. How can you say otherwise?

  Are there any other minority groups that you support discrimination against under the guise of religious freedom? Is so, who are they? If not, why make a special case for gay people?

  AlphaMan: I am not sure exactly what to say to you. Do you really not understand the difference between comparing homophobic statements to racist statements in an effort to demonstrate the discrimination?

  Why would a gay couple want to force a Pastor to marry them?

  I have never suggested a Pastor should be forced to marry anyone, again as I have stated multiple times but you still fail to grasp the simple concept... if someone with a marriage license wants to discriminate I believe they should have the license removed. Is that clear?

  As you do not seem to be reading the posts I will just repost what I said earlier...

  AlphaMan, clearly you have trouble reading and\or understanding...

  No.....your senseless ranting about gay marriage and anyone who doesn't agree that Christian Pastors should be forced to marry them is homophobic & racist makes you sound unstable.

  You think what I have said is 'senseless'? Yes clearly AlphaMan, saying discrimination against gay people is wrong is senseless. Shame on me.

  At no point have I suggested pastors should be forced to marry gay couples. I have suggested that people that want to discriminate should not be allowed to marry anyone, the state should revoke their license.

  Again, I cannot really type slower for you to help you understand, but... I am not saying you are a racist. It was a comparison. Sometimes people make 'comparisons' to help demonstrate a point or alter a view point, this was a mistake in your case as it seems you do not understand the concept.

  So basically you think I sound unstable because of your inability to read and understand my posts on this board.

  oneyeopen, do you have any evidence that the percentage of the population that is gay has increased?

  Am I understanding your post? Are you suggesting that gay people either ;

  • choose to be gay
  • have been 'created' gay by some environmental factors in womb
  • have become gay by exposure to something like " bisphenal A"

  Is it impossible that being born gay could be just a part of nature? You talk about it as if being gay is somehow wrong and potentially needs fixing?

  So assuming someone is a Christian makes me sound unstable... interesting?! Apologies for calling you a Christian.

  I reposted your own comment and simply replaced homophobic with racist and gays with black. When you read the substituted post, would you say it sounds racist? I cannot really explain any more clearly. I am not saying you are racist, I am saying it is homophobic.

  I have not taken what you said "out of context", you are saying that 'gays' are allowed to be discriminated against and I am saying they should not be. If a pastor does not want to follow state marriage laws they should simply stop marrying people.
