I reposted your own comment and simply replaced homophobic with racist and gays with black. When you read the substituted post, would you say it sounds racist? I cannot really explain any more clearly. I am not saying you are racist, I am saying it is homophobic.
I have not taken what you said "out of context", you are saying that 'gays' are allowed to be discriminated against and I am saying they should not be. If a pastor does not want to follow state marriage laws they should simply stop marrying people.

Gay people have gained a lot of acceptance, but they lose support when they try to ramrod their beliefs down people's throats who simply believe differently.
Here you suggest that 'gay people' (generalising is a sure fire sign of homophobia) wanting to get married is not a desire for them to express love for one another, but an effort to "ramrod their beliefs down people's throats".
Also, being gay is not a belief. What exactly do you think "their beliefs" are?
