Abaddon:
I read peoples' posts.
The author of the journaled article is relating results of his experiments that illustrate ADAPTATION, and he is saying it is mutation.
Speaking of lactose intolerance. I used to not have it, then I developed it in my 20s, and now it is gone again. According to the logic of some in this thread, I have mutated several times in the last few years.

Movies, can you relax and watch them or are they just useless waste of time
by MariAruet inas witnesses we were constantly bombarded with idea how movies are dangerous waste of time and that our time could be better spent.
i know that is exterme view but i still feel guilty when just sitting there and watching a movie like that.
i've spoken with few of my old friends and they feel the same.

Be an active viewer. Television and movies aren't bad in themselves. It's what you watch, and whether or not you participate mentally.

Why do I, with 27 years of semi-professional music experience, still don't know how to play "Chopsticks?"
Seriously, every animal, WITHOUT mankind's butting in, does fine. That, incidentally, is why I hate it when a
person says some animal is stupid. Invariably, it is due to some interference by mankind that the animal is in the
situation, like "the deer is in the headlights."
God designed them how he saw fit. Without mankind's interference, they do quite nicely. They were never meant to be eternal
or immortal, for whatever reason. -

Adaptation does not equal mutation.
The author's journal article used the term "adaptation" multiple times.
Adaptation does not equal mutation. -

Most of your post is correct (I have fished for about 31 years), except for one thing:
They were made that way. There are no transitional forms in historical evidence to substantiate any evolution.
They were made that way.
Humans are similar to many animals. Same Designer = similar solutions, oftentimes. -

My friends and I used to change words to popular songs to joke on each other.
These parodies are SO GOOD.
Gawd.
AK-Jeff was a workhouse redoing Don McLean.
If I got enough interest, I could make some recordings of these to the music (or some reasonable versions). -

You know, I never heard of the icefish.
I will go through a process:
Google!!!
Wikipedia!!!
etc.
OK.
Is there DEFINITIVE proof that these animals EVER had hemoglobin in the first place? No. So it can't be a mutation. Mutate = change.
Since they were DESIGNED to live in their hyper-oxygenated environment, that is the end of that.
Assumptions that they should be exactly like other animals with blood would be spurious. -

Beneficial mutation has never been proven.
NEVER.
Crossbreeding dogs to get, for example, a Jack Russell Terrier, has happened.
"Crossbreeding" (using the term again, albeit loosely, humans to get Halle Berry has happened.
Beneficial MUTATION has never been proven.
Four alleles, two, ten; does not take away from what I wrote above.
