i once brought up the fact to my jw that jw's were not allowed to get together informally to do any kind of 'bible' studies without the approval of the elders, gb, etc.. he said that was totally ridiculous and false, more apostate lies.
this was long ago now and i'm not sure he even remembers saying it.

Online Buisness - Does Anyone Have One?
by gumby ini went to a free internet opportunity meeting yesterday and of course they were there to sell you something, but you got a free daily planner book and a free lunch.
i went since i've always believed money can be made by using the internet if you approach it properly.
i didn't buy anything since i know there are cheaper ways to start an online buisness.. anyway, just wondering if any of you have tried it or are currently doing it.

I'm tired
by mrsjones5 ingot up at 5am, got the hubby up, we dressed and went to the surgery center (oh yeah i didn't tell ya'll that hubby was to go in for vein surgery this morning), hubby had surgery and we were out of there by 10am.
went and got some crutches for hubby, van started making funny noises and the battery light came on.
went to target to pick up some stuff for the kids, left there and car sounds worst.

by Orgull inmy first week of posts here were very serious and all the wonderful, encouraging replies helped me very much.. so now i want to ask something semi-frivolous.
(actually it's one of the many things that don't make sense to me about "the truth").
why do animals die?.

Animals not only die: they also get complex deseases, congenital disorders (from birth), and fight among their own species.

That's just it: death IS a part of nature, and you are very subject to its power IF YOU ARE A FREE MORAL AGENT WHO DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE GOD'S RULE RIGHT TO RULE.
There are those who have been granted exemption from that, based on faithful service (Jesus Christ post resurrected, angels who didn't stray, 144,000 - those still on earth)
But animals have no way to plead their cases. They are not free moral agents who can serve God consciously out of love and awe. -

Same rules? Who said that?
Were they meant to be eternal or immortal?
