Questions to ask JW using NWT (interesting)

i came across this site a while back, it is pretty interesting.. http://www.towerwatch.com/witnessing/101_questions.htm.

i tried to show it to a few jw they wouldn't set their eyes on it.

i simily tried talking to a jw about they would not listen.

Just like in the Theocratic School, where we learned to take current events and stuff and turn the conversation to JW stuff, (I hate using the word stuff!), we can also use the same principle with this stuff.

Those are good, but to use them on most of the people who are still in, you have to repackage them.

Memorize one or two, and present them away from the aPOZtate source, if yah know what I mean.

Is Satan getting a bad rap?

the thread on spiritism got me thinking about all the ridiculous things the jw's in my hall blamed on satan.

like their kid getting a cold and they had to miss the meeting or getting a flat tire on saturday, thus missing field service.. i always wondered if satan is such a powerful spirit creature, why the hell would he waste his time flattening tires or causing a runny nose?

you would think he would be causing wwiii or another plague or something!.

when i interviewed for my position my now boss asked me why i didn't have a degree.

my mind filtered out "well you see sir i wasn't allowed to go to college and without that hope basically glided through high school and then went to a trade school so that i could eat.

" instead i told him that it was one of my major goals.

well things did not turn out the way i was hoping it would have so far.

my wife has not come home as of yet and has no plans to.

of course, as witnesses, everything was possibly "demonized".

if you got anything second hand, you could be in demon trouble.

if you saw a horror movie or read anything by stephen king, you were inviting the demons to you.

Ouija boards:

They work!!!

That is why the Society was right about one thing: they are dangerous. But, as was stated, if you implement the protective measures, and ALL the participants are on the same page as far as realizing that it isn't a game, then you would be OK.

When there are bad Ouija board stories, it always involves people who take it as a joke, and/or people who do not properly protect the participants.

The lost generation

do any of you find it weird that a lot of the ex jw's here and at other sites are in there 30's??.

it's like the jw's have lost a whole generation..

One last knowledge bump for those who this fits to the T:

* Are intelligent (though did not necessarily have top grades).
* Are very creative and enjoy making things.
* Always need to know WHY (especially why they are being asked to do something).
* Had disgust and perhaps loathing for the inanity of much of the required work in school, the repetition.
* Were rebellious in school, refusing to do homework, rejecting authority of teachers OR seriously wanted to rebel, but didn't DARE, usually due to parental pressure.
* May have experienced early existential depression and feelings of helplessness. These may have ranged from sadness to utter despair. Suicidal feelings while still in high school or younger are not uncommon in the Indigo Adult.
* Have difficulty in service-oriented jobs - resistance to authority and caste system of employment.
* Prefer cooperative efforts or leadership position or solo if expertise is valued.
* Have deep empathy for others, yet an intolerance of stupidity.
* Extremely emotionally sensitive including crying at the drop of a hat (no shielding) - to no expression of emotion (full shielding).
* May have trouble with RAGE.
* Have trouble with most systems (either emotionally, mentally, or physically)- political, educational, medical, law.
* Alienation from politics - feeling your voice won't count and that the outcome really doesn't matter anyway.
* Frustration with or rejection of the traditional American dream - 9-5 career, marriage, 2.5 children, house with white picket fence, etc.
* Anger at rights being taken away, fear and/or fury at "Big Brother watching you."
* They feel a need like a burning desire to do something to change and improve the world. May be stymied what to do.
* Have psychic or spiritual interest fairly young - in or before teen years.
* Had few if any Indigo role models.
* Have strong intuition.
* Random behavior pattern or mind style - (symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder), may have trouble focusing on a task unless of OWN choosing, may jump around in conversations.
* Have had psychic experiences, such as premonitions, seeing angels or ghosts, hearing voices.
* Sexually expressive and inventive OR may reject sexuality in boredom. May explore alternate types of sexuality.
* Seek meaning to their life and understanding about the world May seek this through religion, spiritual groups and books, self-help groups or books, or individually.
* If they find balance they may become very strong, healthy, happy lightworkers.
