  The point I am making is between the bias tones your assertions made with political affiliation, which by your own admittance is your goal.

  Bible students or Jehovah’s Witnesses have never been a party or affiliated politically to any business of or government. These outlandish accusations have a habit of spiraling out of control to a point of contention by people being mislead. This include governments.
  

  If your argument is simply “Erich Frost” which by unconfirmed outside sources you speak of amount to nothing more that tabloid news.

  I have read many accounts of this issue. I also know the possible sources of your claim.

  The problem here is unconfirmed sources, and I will also add that if such facts were viable, then what was the situation with Fehst that people believe Frost gave up these people to the Gestapo. Furthermore with this speculation, can we know for a fact that it wasn’t Fehst himself to do this atrocity and blamed it on Frost? There are too many unknowns.

  By all accounts, I could in retrospect make such assertions about the Catholic Church. I also have documentation to support such actions by the RCC toward the bible students, But there unconfirmed reports and letters. So my stance is logical unless you can prove otherwise to be making wild accusations.

  The real issue is long term solvency.

  ok every one raves on at how miserable and tight wt is, while they are literally swimming in money and assets.

  although this may be true this isn't the real issue or the problem to begin with.

  the problem is having a long term survivable business plan.

  then Cyrus most likely made his decree in the planting season which allowed the Jewish people time to prepare and go back to Jerusalem by the last harvest in Addaru (Babylonian)-Adar (Jewish)-February/March (Julian).

  September/October 539 BC the Persian and Babylonian armies met at Opis, east of the Tigris. Cyrus was victorious, the cities of Sippar and Babylon surrendered, Nabonidus was captured, and the Persian king entered Babylon as the new ruler.

  Even though you don’t show secular reasoning to establish timeline, there seems to be acceptance of secular time frame. So if you’re willing to accept the Babylonian army simply gave up in 539BC. Then, this would be a point of debate.

  Now the lunar/solar cycle to my reckoning started later around 5 BC. Before, it was lunar. There’s also some confusion that certain Kings would suggest the start of the calendar year.

  So without having access to the above books, I would be able to calculate with more certainty that will suggest the Babylonians surrendered in 538BC, thus bring into line the decree given by Cyrus the Great in that year in the month of Nissannu (Babylonian)-Nissan (Jewish)-March/April (Julian) which was the harvest of onions season. Since it was harvest time, then Cyrus most likely made his decree in the planting season which allowed the Jewish people time to prepare and go back to Jerusalem by the last harvest in Addaru (Babylonian)-Adar (Jewish)-February/March (Julian).

  When people make argument of calendar years, they automatically have a mindset of confusing year tables. While the Julian calendar runs from January-December 12 months, The Babylonian and Jewish calendar runs from March-February 12 months.

  believe the purpose of the WTS money grab is to build a huge investment portfolio that will allow them to be self-sustaining financially. Donations may wane in tough economic times, but investments keep paying interest.

  I agree with DoC. Does anyone know if the WTS has any type of incidental insurance that protect corporations? I believe the term squander the money is presumptuous.

  By long term solvency and survival maybe you meant sustainable. If you did, Perhaps you aren't aware that one of the first things a "sustainable" business would do is try to retain talent, creative people with critical skills

  The talent is in the structure of the WTS, aside from that, many talents are utilized for different purposes. Remember this is a Religious Organization, not ABC broadcasting.

  All you need is to ask someone who knows about tax exempt businesses which ultimately religions fall under. Very religion has what is called a business portfolio. This means to have governments monitor charitable contributions that are made for religious purposes.

  Monies that are made by let’s say sales of buildings automatically revert back to the portfolio, not the people or the governing body. This also keeps an eye of interest generated. Some charities are not tax exempt by which the interest generated will pay those taxes.

  Which is my premise. Religion = Politics. You can't separate the two.

  Wrong sir, it doesn’t take a genius to have a conclusion that if past Witnesses were political motivated the ignorance will then in sue to modern ideology. I reject your premise.

  Jehovah’s Witnesses or Bible Students never had or will have political agendas to either public or government.

  SIMON: Since this question is inflammatory and posses danger to Jehovah’ Witnesses in parts of the world under communist rule. It is obvious worldwide readers inter this domain. Such lies and wild accusations of any political affiliations by Jehovah’s Witnesses by utter discontent and shameless intentions to prove by distortion is a liable issue by placing within an organization that government views as subversive due to unconscionable people that place human lives not the organization which they serve in danger by such lies perpetrated by ignorance and the lack of knowledge. I will in all haste call upon your love for humanity to have your members reframe from such despicable accusations and tactics. Thank You.

  if you're unaware of the letter tinged with anti-semitism and offering tacit approval that rutherford wrote to hitler, see this article on jwfacts.. so, we all know the witnesses were persecuted quite a bit during the war years.

  i personally had family that was in jail with brother schroder in the 40's for the crime of "peddling.

  i'm an agnostic fader, however i still think the mob violence against the witnesses was deplorable.

  So what you’re saying is, if someone throws you in jail for your religious beliefs and lies made upon you, and then you find out who was behind it and their motives, you would sit and do nothing? Got it.
  

  The RCC were cowards not to express their views of discontent through the pulpit.
  

  You’re a better person/ since everyone else were thinking of their families, and since it was a perilous time, people were thinking about taking care of them since they were the bread winners, and due to someone else bigotry now the Students had 2 things to contend with instead of 1.
