  Lo' and Behold - I start hearing Kingdom Melodies in the coffee shop.....

  i was peacefully reading an old copy of stephen cox' article "can the truth survive the internet", and all of a sudden i realize that the instrumental music playing is the d*mn kingdom melodies.

  it was actually pretty good.

  it was that instrumental cd released sometime back with a lot of harp, piano, and woodwinds in it.

  Man! I can remember so many GOOD sounding religious songs! I use to love them...until after I became a witness...need I say more.

  Messy people vs. neat people

  my boyfriend is so messy!

  i just arrived here at his apartment and seriously, the place is gross.

  he has improved quite a bit since he met me... but i surprised him and he wasn't expecting me so the place is nasty.

  I would consider myself a confused messy, disorganized person that on the inside really wants to be neat. After I had my kids, my house went to hell in a hand basket (is hand basket one word or two?). It seemed the bigger they got, the more the house started looking like a tornado hit it. It seemed like I was cleaning up for nothing. When they were young, their socks, underwear, and clothes were always organized. I never let my children look like ragamuffins. I cooked, cleaned, and did their hair daily. I don't know what happened!

  I'm a total slob now. I mean like you wouldn't have a problem finding a place to sit, and that there would not be any "vermin" (that's what my mom liked to call bugs and little animals that got into your house) around. You wouldn't have to worry about smelling a cat or dog, cause I don't have any; but there would be toys, books, papers, letters, CD's, and clothes that are out of place. You know like the house needs to be picked up. It's like that pretty often.

  My husband is a horder. He hates to throw anything away. OMG!!! He can find a rock that's interesting looking and say "Hey look, I think this might be gold!" and he will keep it. It's hard to get him to throw anything away

  So, I guess you can say I'm messy.

  i'm so frustrated with the challenges associated with "spreading the bad news about jehovah's witnesses" i find when i debate with a jw in the company of "civilians" (people who know nothing of jw's) they come off smelling like a rose and i seem like a disgruntled nut.. just needed to vent!.

Tell them that you don't believe that Jehovah's Witnesses have it right, they make prophecies that don't come true, that they follow men who are not directed by God, and that you have no intention of being a religious zombie.

  Elsewhere, I don't know if you ever seen the movie "Robocop". But if you did, do you remember the scene where this super unbeatable huge robot was unable to walk down the stairs? And how the producers had it crying like a baby when it fell down the stairs? It was laying on it's back like a stuck turtle!

  his hemoglobin is at 11. i will have to keep monitoring his stools for blood, and he will have to go back in for lab draws for blood counts.

  but, he's doing well; and he's happy to be home.. thanks again to everyone for your kind thoughts and messages!.

  It's a wonder that you didn't have to be put in the hospital for diabetic acidosis with a HgbA1C that high. Have you been eating cake? You bad boy!

  Elsewhere, I have to do this all the time (observe stools, get samples, wash poopy butts). I'm a nurse, remember? Hey, I'd even do it for you!
