  i have finished 15 pieces in my pottery class so far.

  i start my next 10 classes next monday night.. i have almost finished designing a board game.

  I'm tired.

  I have to go to work...12 hour shift.

  I just laid down some new rules for my daughter and using the internet. Her grades have been going down. She comes home from school, jumps on the internet, and works on her Neopets, are plays this game that I have to pay $5.00 a month for.

  I paid bills yesterday.

  I have tons of medical bills met my catastrophic cap this year. I'm always sick. I had a thyroidectomy in 2003 that paralyzed both my vocal cords for about 8 months, I had to have a tracheostomy for five months because the doctors wouldn't believe me when I told them I was having trouble breathing! They, also, managed to collaspe my lung during the second surgery for the thyroidectomy. The second surgery happened because I developed a large hematoma on my neck that was crushing my windpipe! The doctor ripped out the stitches right at the bedside. Blood spurt everywhere! I was rushed back to surgery. When I awoke, I was still intubated and on a ventilator! I thought I had woke up in surgery and that they were going to operate! That's another story....anyway...I ended up in leather straps while I was on the ventilator. Three months later, I got the tracheostomy....another long story...anyway bills, bills, bills...

  I'm fatter than I've ever been in my life! Woe is me!

  Anyone ever had a Kidney Stone?

  oh my god it was so horrible....was the worst pain i have ever been in.

  it was a 3 hour labor contraction....i couldn't even walk.

  i was crawling into the emergency room.

  oh my god it was so horrible....was the worst pain i have ever been in.

  it was a 3 hour labor contraction....i couldn't even walk.

  i was crawling into the emergency room.

  I have a disorder called hyperparathyroidism that makes me prone to get kidney stones. So far, I've only had three. The other two did pass without difficulty. I don't think I have anymore!

  i remember when i was younger, and flipping through the channels, and seeing the girls head on the exorsist spinning around.

  i freaked and turned it of really quick.

  i thouhgt a demon was going to come out of the tv!

  mine was all the parties and social gatherings we had.

  I've had one and my brother has had one. They are very painful. Neither me or my brother could pass our stones. We had to have them manually removed. Mines got stuck in my ureter. I developed hydroneprhosis and hydroureter. I didn't have a "jet" meaning the stone was plugging the ureter. The urologist went in and got it out. They said that I still had two additional small stones in the kidney that would pass without difficulty.

  My brother's stone dropped down into his bladder and became a bladder stone. Talk about pain. He said he went to the ER and just layed on the floor. They had to go up into his "you know what" and pull the stone out. He said it was a very big stone. He was crawling around for days post-surgery.

  Did they do an ultrasound to make sure that your ureter isn't blocked completely?

  My neck my back........

  they hurt so much any one what will make it feel better?

  i took some asprin but that did not help.

  any suggestions would be welcomed..

  You may need to go to the ER and get a shot of Toradol or Demerol. My husband just went through a flare of pain in his shoulders. I had him on bedrest, I gave him 600 mg's of Ibuprofen, and I put a heating pad to his shoulders. I, also, made sure that he went to the doctor. The doctor did give him a shot of Toradol as well as a shot of steroid medicine (Kenalog). You should go directly to the ER. Have someone drive you.

  The benefit of JWD

  i know i have made comments about the benefits of jwd but i have some thoughts about this.. for the person who is having doubts and is looking for some confirmation or information jwd provides a wealth of both.

  and if it isn't posted here on the board someone usually has a link to answer questions.

  for those who have been hurt by the shunning policy or been abused in some way jwd offers wonderful people who understand because they have "been there" too.. for those who are recently out of the wts and are trying to build a new life there are many to encourage and support them.. even those of us who have been here and out of the wts for a long time there is encouragement and friendship.. for those who love a good debate, there is usually a willing jw to try to take them on.. there are some great sites on the internet that provide information.
