anyone want to give me some main reasons employers reject job applicants?

i already have some, but this is for something for school... and i really need a wide range of answers... they are looking for me to give them quite a few reasons.

i need serious ones, too... not something inappropriate for school or ridiculous.

Job Interview Questions That You Can and Can't Ask Under the ADA

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is the federal agency that enforces the ADA.

According to the EEOC, you should never ask the following questions in a job interview:

Have you ever had or been treated for any of the following conditions or diseases? (Followed by a checklist of various diseases or conditions.)
List any conditions or diseases for which you have been treated in the past three years.
Have you ever been hospitalized? If so, for what condition?
Have you ever been treated by a psychologist or psychiatrist? If so, for what?
Have you ever been treated for any mental condition?
Do you suffer from any health-related condition that might prevent you from performing this job?
Have you had any major illnesses in the past five years?
How many days were you absent from work because of illness last year? (You may, however, tell the applicant what your attendance requirements are and then ask whether he or she will be able to meet those requirements.)
Do you have any physical defects that preclude you from doing certain types of things?
Do you have any disabilities or impairments that might affect your ability to do the job?
Are you taking any prescribed drugs?
Have you ever been treated for drug addiction or alcoholism?
Have you ever filed a worker's compensation claim?

Turns out... I'm not so smart! Why the difference?

after exactly 1 year on discovering jwd and working through emotions, feelings etc, i feel the need to relate this.. as a witness i really believed i was smart.

i believe i must have had a high iq.

that i knew so many more things then others.

I really believe that Jehovah's Witnesses think other people are D-U-M-B! The people that we studied with acted as though we had just dropped out our mother's wombs. They would constantly tell us stuff that we all ready knew, and disregard anything that we told them. They were so haughty. I remember telling the guy that "you don't think that we know anything". I said "It's beginning to get on my husband's nerves!".

It must be your experience with the Witnesses that got you to feeling so smart. I never met a Witness that didn't think that they were better off and smarter than everyone else. No offense.

The burglar stopped in his tracks. The woman calmly called the police
and explained what she had done. As the officer cuffed the man to take
him in, he asked the burglar,

"Why did you just stand there? All the old lady did was yell a scripture
to you."

"Scripture?" replied the burglar. "She said she had an Ax and Two 38's!"

i'm so tired today.

i work nights.

i was off last night, but i couldn't sleep.

I'm so tired today. I have to go with my husband to see the cardiologist today. I work nights. I was off last night, but I couldn't sleep. Now, I'm really sleepy! My husband's appointment is in about 30 minutes. I have to work tonight. I am worn out! Who do you pray to for strength? I need strength. Somebody, please, pray for me. If there's a God out there that cares about me, I need for him to help me. So, you believers out there, pray for me today.

That was so sick. The elder just sitting there lying like a snake. Talking about it depends on the circumstances...He knows good as well that if an "Elder put up a Christmas tree" that he would be punished, and that if that elder was not sorry for putting up the Christmas tree that he would be disfellowshipped and considered an apostate; which means that he would be shunned. I couldn't believe it when the elder said we don't use the word "shunning". He said that we only use it when we say "shun gambling (or something)" but not against a disfellowshipped person.

That man was lying! No if's, and's, or but's about it!

I wonder what the judge thought when the "Elder" said that "We have no titles."? Another lie: Elders, Presiding Overseer, Ministerial Servant, Pioneer, Faithful and Discreet Slave, Circuit Overseer.... What did the judge think when he said "This is apostate material."? When the material, actually, came from the organization's headquarters and was just posted on an "apostate" site... I wondered if the judge knew what apostate meant to Jehovah's Witnesses (DEMONIZED).

i just stumbled on this site today, and am i ever glad i did!!!

i was raised as a witness, my mom being a witness and my dad a non believer.

growing up i never wanted to follow all the rules, and often broke them behind my mothers back.

i stood on that witness stage and got married.

the talk was long and boring, and meant to convert all of our non-witness relatives.

the music was pre picked to make sure it was clean enough for a witness gathering, and the drive to our honeymoon location was as fast as the car could go ... wonder why?
