On the day of my baptizmal, my husband drove me and the Lady that studied with me to the place for baptizing in water, to meet up with all the others. Well, My ubm tuned into the Baseball game on the car radio and just as they were playing "The Star Spangled Banner" He unconsciously started singing along. What an embarrassment!!

Bible reading without the WT filter
by watch the tower inyou know even though i think the wt doctrine is mostly all garbage now, i still do believe that the bible is inspired from our creator.
the flaw in my understanding of it in the past was because i was interpreting it through the filter of the wts.
recently i have started clean slate and read the bible without the wt filter (easier said than done, your mind has a way of reverting back to what was programmed in there).

In reading the NT scriptures with an open mind....I have come to the conclusion that the 144,000 must have been finished in the first century or during the Apostles time as I read in Acts that more and more people begin to become Christians. In my reasoning, more than 144,000 had to be Christian in the Apostles time.

Lost and found
by Crumpet ini just lost my favourite ring - the little brass signet band my grandfather gave me when i was 9 and i have worn every minute sincei was 9.
i went franctic and then retraced my steps and found it on the downstairs bathroom floor - tucked under the rug and was finally calm.
have you ever lost anything and had it found or returned unusually or unexpectedly?.

we have ordered vaccines but we are low down on the list for vaccines in europe because our government placed the order late.

I believe that is an accuse to extort more money from the dubs for building printing presses and branch offices all over the world. If they really believed that God is our Father and will teach us himself by Holy Spirit then we do not need printing of Watchtowers to teach us.

anyone ever wonder whether IT could be the TRUTH?

but ive got a huge decision to make wont go thru it all again its on my last thread, and i have decided that i am stopping going to the meetings completly (ive been dfed 7 months and because i didnt want to hurt my family even more i continued going to all the meetings and hid my boyfriend, wno was wonderful about it, put a letter of reinstatement in which they refused but relised by the way i paniked when i thought they might reinstate me that it is not what i want!).
i love my bf and want to be with him without any secrecy but i also want my family to accept him and still speak to me but i know that will not happen, so i have two choices either get reinstated and then leave (and risk losing mybf) or tell them now i dont want it and stop the meetings altogether before i go insane.. thing is to be free of the meetings and be with my bf, i will lose my family they are all so strong in the 'truth' they will not have any contact with me and my husband is divorcing me so ill lose finacially and my house and have to share time with my daughter, not to mention all my old friends who are wanting me back, and if i stop now all those months of trying to be reinstated will be wasted id be set right back,.
