  How do I find Former JWs in my area?

  i would like to find former jws in my immediate area.

  i have done a search on-line, but no luck.

  i would like to find them without drawing attention to myself from those still in the jws, since i have close friends and family in the wt.

  i've decided to put out this topic for some fun after i posted at the simon and garfunkel topic.. anything you want to say on whatever subject: music, movies, life, work, what did our generaton contribute to society, family, grandchildren, your body now heading south, baldness, acceptance of ourselves and shortcomings, more tolerant (or too tired to care?)..

  i feel our generation has contributed greatly to medical advances i.e.

  replacing worn out joints, etc.

  In 1969 we bought our first house way out off the LIE (long island expressway) exit 64 on long Island NY for $26,000......now you can't buy that same house for $400,000...I was glad when we moved from Long Island...didn't like it there. I had my first incounter with bad JWs from the KH. AND that is when I started to fade.

  WTS and Holocaust $$$ Reparations $$$

  this is also posted in hawkaw's un thread, which is currently down.

  i posted it there since i see the wts's invitation and participation in this international conference as evidencing how successful the wts has manipulated the holocaust tragedies to further its secret agenda to weave itself into the international community, despite its expressed position that it is "no part of the world".

  its interesting that as time progresses, and the wts teaches its followers that every day brings closer the destruction of this world, yet the wts continues to make every effort to move closer to the world and gain its favor.. here is a high-ranking representative of "god's earthly organization" addressing a meeting of high-ranking "worldly" vips, and where in this message is the promotion of "god's kingdom"?

  Kind of like the business of having brothers donate work and materials to repair houses after a disaster and then getting the dub homeowners to sign over their insurance checks to Brooklyn.

  I have heard that rumor to BUT have yet to find proof that the organization actually ask for the insurance checks. Does anyone have an experience with that?

  Watch Tower proposes to establish a legal entity to make cash payments and in-kind distributions to needy Jehovah's Witness class members.

  I would be impressed if the WTS actually did distribute to the needy JW class members. BUT what about the ones who are not needy who were victims of the Nazis? Will the WTS not find any needy ones and therfore keep the money awards??

  as you all may know, the elders around america have had (or will have) their annual meetings.

  you know, the ones where they are trained and brought up to date about the whole scheme of things.. anyway, an elder who i happen to be close to was telling me yesterday that some troubling/disturbing things has been going down in congregations worldwide.

  he also mentioned that it will be mentioned in watchtowers and km's in the next few months.. anyone know what he may be talking about?

  Disturbing Information Passed on in Annual Elders Meeting? The information should be about the lack of true love and the obvious hypocrisy among the leadership including the local elders and the everyday non-thinking convoluted JW.

  I agree but you know they can't see with their blinders on. The leadership will be Jugded by Jesus one day.

  I can't go to meetings and pretend to be a witness at the same time, once I found out what hypocrites WTS is then wouldn't that make ME a hypocrite to?

  I don't want to read their propaganda...I don't want to know them anymore in a personal way.

  Jesus will Judge the GB and those who knowingly mislead the sheep.
