Operation Valkyrie - Could this happen in the "Nazi" Watchtower society?
by Witness 007 inthe plot to kill hitler and take over the government by a large group of hitlers elite officers.
the bomb in hitlers bunker did not kill him...they almost suceeded.....religiously the same "coupe" happened when hurbert armstrong died {world wide church} his new president adopted the trinity and tried to join the mainstream churches which divided the church into many factions.
if these two ultra dedicated organisations can be overtaken and infultrated like the watchtower was with ray franz, edward dunlap....could this happen again?.

i have been to places of deep despair and resurfaced looking the same, months or even years later but the internalised paul changed.

Lovebombing =Pats on the back for me going back to Meetings...I want to punch someone!!!!
by Witness 007 inafter being away for 3 years i have agreed to attend some meetings with my wife who is suffering depression.
she has no friends except witnesses.
every meeting i get pats.......pats on the back during the damn meeting, elders and servants patting me on the back, mouthing "hello" giving me the thumbs up.....the last elder who did it, i almost stood up and punched him....i invented love bombing and they dare use it on me...me!

Worshipping Jehovah without all the rules?
by ptucker8357 inhi again.... i've been searching around for a few days now trying to understand whether or not there are spiritual folks out there who believe some of the fundamental tenents of the witness religion, but don't believe in all the rules that the gb puts forth... many of the folks that i talk to tell me that the only way to salvation is through acceptance of jesus as god.
i do accept jesus as the messiah, as a perfect man that god sent to atone for the sins of adam, but i don't believe he is god.... i believe there is one god, one son and one holy spirit and they are not three persons in one god... i feel weird whenever i go to another service that exalts the trinity, as well as some other basic rituals of their religion.... am i making sense?.

no sense at all........Either you accept Jesus as your savior....meaning you will also do ALL he has commanded.........and it is for you to find out exactly what it was.....and that is not a very easy task indeed....
OR
You do not accept him as such.........
In that case......you will end up where the first possibility will eventually lead you.......
You pick the route that fits you best

Watchtower org. is dead it just hasn't fallen over yet!
by koolaid-man init's amazingly simple, for thoughtful, and litterate people to see that the watchtower organization is in a state of free fall.
it's never been easier to "connect the dots" suggesting the trouble the watchtower org.

Jehovah Knows in Advance His People Will Fail - July 1 09 WT
by Hopscotch inin this public edition of the watchtower it uses an illustration of a piece of furniture to help explain why jehovah tolerated polygamy.. but the more interesting point i thought was the reasoning in the first paragraph in the second column about jehovah warning his people when they strayed from his standards.
it says "however, he knew in advance that his people would often fail to obey even the most basic of commands, such as the one against idolatry.
(exodus 32:9).

To rely on deuteronomy to prove Solomon wrong = wrong. Deuteronomy came after Solomon and can therefore not be used as proof.
THe way they came clean with the law against adultery (the men that is) was by allowing more females to be in the possession of one man. If GOds law for one man one woman was clean cut.....why did Judah go to a prostitute.......

by african GB Member init shows people running away crying, and fire balls coming from heaven, with angels firing arrows at them.. i really don't think this kind of picture is neccesary.. i don't know how to paste a picture here, i'd appreciate if someone could do it for everyone to see what i am talking about.. .

And on the right there is something that looks like a black goatlike figure....

Warning - Independent thinking alert - shut down all systems
by donny ini have a jw in my employ and he is overall a good person, but i am frequently reminded how controlled a jw mind is when it comes to reason.
i was in my office with my jw associate when another co-worker (cw) came in and they got into a discussion of bible versions.
it went like this.. cw - well i use the king james version most of the time.
