  a disfellowshipped friend of mine was recently kindly informed about this by her jw mother , i presume they are meant to eat the billions od dead bodies , as my friend is a big lady she informed her mother they would get a good feed off her!!!

  i actually think saying that to your child is a form of child abuse no matter how old they are and think it so sad that small children would be sat at meetings listening to that information and feeling so scared , i wonder if that information is actually accurate and where it comes from , does anyone know ?.

  can i bring my own wine and crackers to partake tonight?

  My wife was invited to the Memorial

  so here i am moving furniture from downstairs to upstairs and from upstairs to downstairs (yes i'm very sore today) when there comes a knock at the door.

  two witnesses, man and wife, that nina has known since the 70's had come over to invite her to the memorial.

  never mind she hasn't talked or heard from then in over a decade.. they made a point of ignoring me, and spoke only to nina.

  Did You Feel Better After Confessing Your Sins To The Elders?

  Not at all. In fact I usually felt worse. No not only did I know about my "sin" but now my parents, siblings & the E-Team knew about it as well as anyone that the E-team spouces talked to.

  What I found FUNNY is that I have been called before them TWICE for the EXACTLY same "sin".

  The First Time

  I turned Myself in, cried and confessed, I took action to correct the problem, but lots in the Congregation Knew about it.

  And I was Disfellowshiped

  The Second Time

  I was turned in by my spouce, I kept cool and calm, confessed some, did not give all details, I took some action to correct the "problem" and NOBODY in the Congregation knew about it (except for my spouce - who turned me in).

  And I was Reproved

  I did not beleive it before, but I beleive it now - It is ALL about appearance. Its not what you do, who you know, what you know, or who you do, its how you look and more importantly, how you make them look.

  The interior of your vehicle....how do you keep it?

  this subject may seem like fluff, but it really isn't.

  in the last 3 days i have been in 3 vehicles, where the floor was not visable, water bottles or garbage were accidently kicked out as i tried to get in.

  coffee cups belonging in the house were littered willy-nilly, the passenger seat was loaded with crap, and one vehicle actually held underwear of the persons love interest.

  I use 3 layers of floor mats per seat to keep my nice Truck's carpet clean. Factory mat then aftermarket carpeted mats, then two cheap rubber mats on top.

  No armorall cause it dried out and cracked the dashboard in my other car.

  I use Plain Ole Shaving Creme to clean carpets with, spray Shaving Creme over the car carpet stain, tack a damp cloth and rub it in, wait a couple minutes, rub it really good with a damp cloth, allow to dy and vacuum. Takes the stain out and leaves your car smelling fresh everytime.

  about eight years ago i was diving on a live aboard dive boat in the cayman island`s.

  there was a brake bewteen dives and i was sitting at a table on there upper deck with a famaly, mother, father and two girls age 18 and 20. i asked the girls what they did and one girl said she goes to duke university and there other girl said that she goes to mit.

  i said to the parent that there girl must be brilent and that you must be very proude of them and love them derly and the mother replayed yes.

  you know i was baptized in 96 and all this time my understanding of the international convention is that there is one a year ?

  you have to be accepted to go correct ?

  i was always put off by that.

  I have some family going this year. It is in Hawaii and they are soo excited. I thought about going at the same time, but just going to enjoy myself and tease them about have to spend their time on the Island in suits. LOL These family members are such good DUBS that they are going to their regularly assigned Assembly as well as the International.

  One thing that I had to laugh about is that they had to "Lower" their standards of who could go because they could not fill seats.

  Would you support a 'tent' city in your town?

  i read this comment in the sacramento news and wondered how many would support a 'tent' city for the homeless in their town?

  i personally don't know how it works other than that i imagine it cloisters those homeless who wish to take of advantage of it into one large area, and provide them with toilets and tents and perhaps some form of help in the way of volunteers offering food or medical assistance.

  once legal and set up, what would happen?

  Instead of keeping these people outside in the elements, why not put them in one of those BIG-BOX Warehouse Stores that have been closing recently. There are already Restroom and Kitchen facilities in place. It wouldn't look as bad, might be a little more neighbor hood friendly, it would be easier to control what goes in and out and it would give thes people a physical address. Homeless does not mean Helpless.

  Do the resurrected get to have babies?

  ok obviously a dumb question, for so many reasons, but i need to know what the current doctrine is re the resurrected; last time i looked they were 'as angels' in that they're not able to breed, which solves the population problem of bringing back to life almost everybody who has ever died.

  anyway thing is this; my sisters' cancer has been resolved for now in that she's currently 'cancer free'.

  it has, however, been a melanoma, a germinoma and a few carcinoma so she's being scanned pretty regularly, and i don't have a lot of info to go on but i think that nobody's talking about what her odds really are.

  I spent 2008 getting rid of suits (I gave 10 to Goodwill), Dress shirts, Slacks, Ties (How did I end up with so many ties) & Dress shoes. I also got rid of a lot of literature, books, mags, KM's & CD's. It felt so good to do.

  I plan on cutting the last bit of Watchtower out of my life and making it official.

  I also plan on getting Finances in better shape and to not be a consumer whore.
