  why is it that jw`s discourage you to search online for things dealing with jw`s?

  if you are firm in your beliefs and you know you have the truth why be so afraid of that you will stumble upon some kind of "apostate" literature?

  does anyone know exactly why jw`s shun there freinds and family for being dfed?

  the more an individual was willing to commit bad acts against humanity in the name of the state, the more likely he would move up the ranks, as he would be considered loyal to the party.

  Ummm. You want to kill this forum? Why?

  If you are already past what it offers, why try to destroy it for someone else?

  Are you mentally defective? Sociopathic? What? Do you think you own the forum just because you can post here? Does it have to interpret the rules the way you say? From what I understand, the owners of the forum are like the Gods of this universe. That is the way it always is. Are you the "Governing Body" of this forum? Do you want to set up a group that determines for the owners what is and is not okay?

  Why do you want to bring this board down? I need it. Others need it. If you talk like that on other forums many JW lurkers will NEVER go there. I know I wouldn't.

  What freaks! It might help you to find something interesting in real life to pursue if this forum has already helped you as much as it can, or go to another forum if this one doesn't allow you enough individuality. In other words, move on, grow up, let your balls finally drop.

  Chevelle,

  My wife's dad is gay. He is the choir leader at a Church. No one in his Church knows his orientation. But, he also isn't a pedophile. The pastor of the Church is married and has three children. Two of them have accused him of pedophilia. Three other children in the Church have accused him of pedophilia.

  There is no protection from pedophilia provided by marital status. None at all.

  To be fair, Chevelle is free to have his own standard and viewpoint of what constitutes "morally right." I don't agree with him, but he says correctly that he has a right to believe that.

  I suspect there are reasons in my own life for which he would kill me if it was legal to do so. At the least, I know others in my situation who have been killed by people who shared viewpoints similar to those expressed by Chevelle. I am not a homosexual, but that is far from the only reason people discriminate against each other.

  Chevelle, I encourage you to educate yourself. While your children may very well be at risk of moelstation by homosexuals who are not open about their orientation, or any other sexually repressed person, open homosexuals have a greatly reduced proclivity toward child molestation when compared to any other societal segment.

  Your viewpoint reveals a misunderstanding of what child abuse is really about. I was abused as a child, so I have had occasion to study this aberrant behavior. Child abuse is about power and control. The sexual charge the perpetrator gets is from a feeling of conquest and control, not from normal sources of sexual arousal. Your children are at much greater risk of molestation or severe sexual abuse from authority figures in their lives than they are from random encounters with homosexuals.

  In other words, their aunts and uncles are more likely to molest them. Their teachers and coaches are more likely to molest them. Ignorance (i.e. "not knowing" as opposed to "just plain stupidity") of the kind you have expressed here is the BIGGEST single risk factor. If parents are warning their kids and scaring their kids about the wrong risks, when the risk becomes reality from a completely different and unexpected source the child is totally disarmed and confused.

  Your beliefs, as expressed here, make it far more likely that your child will be a victim. Let it weigh on you, if you care for the opinion of someone who has survived it.
