  Need Copy of Recent "Questions From Readers" About JWs Eating Fats...

  when i attended a support-group meeting in february [2009], someone in the group brought a wtbts magazine with a very odd "questions from readers" on the back.

  [may have been the jw version of feb. 2009 watchtower??].

  the "questions from readers" was something to the effect of "are jehovah's witnesses allowed to eat fats?

  my wife just gave me notes that she took at this past memorial.

  in her notes the speaker referring to the 144,000 and what they will be doing uses rev.5:10 as saying they will rule "over" the earth.

  when reading this scripture in my tyndale bible it reads as "on" the earth.

  Human Sacrifice---The Ultimate Gift To God

  the aztecs were very much into wanting to please the gods, so they sacrificed animals and humans to appease their god(s).

  the mayans did the same.. the assyrians and other "pagans" were known to perform human sacrifices.

  throughout history, people have killed innocent victims---all in the name of trying to please god.. when nations go to war with one another, they praise those who give the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

  i guess this time of year with the holidays my thoughts gravitate to family and for me it's usually a time of reflection on how my relationships have been going with my family .

  thinking about what i want to accomplish or avoid in the coming year regarding family relationships.

  thus i thought of this question in my thread as a way of reflection on my life ; and thought it might help some of you reflect as well.
