Back in CA, when one of my best friends wanted to pioneer, the elders didn't let her because it "appeared that she and I were overly affectionate to each other physically" -apparently this was "brought tothe attention" of the elders by this shitty little bigot nephew of an elder that had been visiting and didn't like how we looked when we'd hug or sit with our arms over each others shoulders at the meeting.
A couple witness friends and I (girls) were very affectionate and would kiss and hug but NEVER even thought that it could be remotely construed as "lesbianism". That was the FURTHEST thing from our minds. we were sweet kids and all loved each other and were always excited to see each other.
Leave it to those f'n dirty minded old men and a sexually repressed teenage boy to turn it into something "dirty".

one of the 'sisters' from the hall brought her a few of the tracts to hand out while she was in the hospital (like to nurses and whoever).

Hello, thought you'd like another female opinion on this issue...
I agree that wonderful sex can be had where there is no true love- just carnal attraction, great chemistry and two very willing partners. I have had this and it is really nice. I have also had wonderful sex in a really loving commited relationship.
Both are wonderful and I really enjoy the fact that I was able to have a good time with the "cheap" sex and enjoy it for what it was.
I think that the main ingredients for great sex are people who are each in tune with what the other one wants and can give each other exactly that. I think mostly that this is something that is either there or isn't. BUT I guess these things can also be learned with two open and caring partners.
I have just been ever so fortunate to have partners that I have automatically "clicked" with. And that's part of dating non-witnesses that is so good, sex is up front and out in the open and usually figured out in the first month or so. It is nothing that lingers over your head and worries you and freaks you out for years while you have a "courtship".
I guess when sex is wonderful, it's just like the icing on top of an already yummy cake and you don't even stress about it at all, like most normal people, but if it is terrible it becomes the crux of your relationship.
and GOOD GOD seeker4 how did you lure that girl in with that mug!!!???

Sorry if this is a weird and naive question...
But to Highlander and others: What exactly constitutes "bad sex"? I (and I hope I am not jinxing myself!) couldn't consider ANY sex that I've had as bad. It's always great to: a) even be HAVING sex; b) get to be naked with someone I am attracted to; c) do things to and have stuff done to me that is really fun and exciting... (hope that's not too much information...). Then again I really love having sex and I hope that never changes :) Perhaps having bad sex is just having sex with someone who does not like having sex with you...?
Anyway, for those having "bad sex" what exactly about it makes it BAD?

1. my wife and i live in an old converted water mill, a couple of hundred yards from the river wye, which has a habit or rising and falling 25 feet in a matter of hours.
one particular bad year the whole county of hereford was almost under water, it was shown on tv with all the fields flooded as the river burst its banks.

This reminds me of last year during the floods in Northern California. The elders at our hall would not come out to help us either. We called one elder and his wife said "...well he said he's sort of tired right now... Hope it goes well for you." NO follow up call or anything.
I was sick with the flu, just had 11 cavities filled and was visiting my parents -thankfully I could offer them a little help. We werre sandbagging at 3 in the morning and fortunately the creek finally went down just before it breached our sandbag line.
At the facility in our town that was supplying sandbags two nice young "worldly" men offered to come out to our house and help my dad. They were such a help- cute too!

A day in the Life of a MountainMan
by OUTLAW inmy well has dried up.so i go down to the creek where i gold pan,for water..the creeks are freezing up here,so the water is dam cold.if you stood in the water for a few minutes your feet would go numb.the current may even knock you off your feet..i`ve seen some wildlife in these mountains that i haven`t seen before.i`m new to this area of the mountains..yesterday when i was down at the creek,a few small birds flew in and stood on the rocks in the creek..tiny birds,about as big as a sparrow.charcoal in colour and thier feet were not webbed..these tiny birds would dive in to this cold rushing creek,grab food from the bottom ,pop up on a rock and eat thier food..i was suprised they didn`t die of cold or were`nt washed down stream and drowned..this is the first time i have ever seen a land bird do this.i coudn`t stop watching it was so cool..i went back home and worked on the well a bit.i heard this loud flapping above my head,it was a friggin large eagle looking for prey..different wildlife show up as the seasons pass..i wonder what i`ll see next?...outlaw

It just makes me so glad I never went through that as I was extremely awkward around guys ("brothers") and besides, they weren't too interested in a scrawny straggly bespectacled girl with braces and zits!
