by John Doe inafter all the negative reviews on here and elsewhere when this movie came out, i forego going to see it in the theater.
i rented it today and watched it, and i must say i regret not seeing it in the theater.
it was based much more on the characters and their motivations in this movie than in the last movie, but it was very interesting.

I know- didn't you totally joke about all of those "types" with your JW friends while you were a JW??
I guess her feelings are underrstandable- like, you can gripe all you want about your parents/siblings/spouse but if anyone else were to say the same thing--- oooo boy! you'd kick their ass!!

Nastiest X-Files ever:
The episode about the Peacock family (their last name, they were not birds).
Anyone remember?
Their parents were in an automobile accident (or something) and the mother lost all her limbs and the brothers kept her on a little cart under the bed and they would breed with her and she kept having inbred, mutant babies. Scully and Mulderr came on the scene cause someone reported alien abaies beign found (dug up) in this corn field. The field was where the Peacock's were burying all the babies that died.
I saw this when my parents were visiting me and we were all in a hotel watching tv. We could *not* stop watching, it was so gross. even the cinematography was disturbing, all shot in dark light... ugh.
So, as a momento of the visit I got my mom a coffee mug with a peacock (bird) on it. Sent it to her when she got home.

yeah- if the quiz were directed at me or a group I identified with somehow- like Which Dogpark Asshole Are You or Which Running Asshole Are You or Which Academic Asshole Are You or Which Art Asshole Are You or Which Humanist Asshole Are You (?, yeah some of those don't make a lot of sense) I would never be offended in the least!!
but make the joke about anyone's religion and suddenly for some reason it is off limits!!

On your first statement- I don't think she is that bad anymore- she is married, two kids etc. I think she has toned it down so I guess she is living her life ok. But c'mon! To jump over that little FB app...? I think she sees herself as Sista Superfine maybe. Who knows. They better not shun me if I visit, that would not be cool.

Yes. I've seen this girl get drunk, flirt with another girl's husband etc. She's no puritan. But they feel they HAVE to be offended at stuff like this even though I KNOW it is something she would laugh at, really. Maybe it is the usee of the word asshole??

So in response to the "I'll take it down if it offends my friends, she said "Thank you."
Wonder if that was friendly or "still pissed"...
So I wrote in response to that- "Before I take it down, you know you would be "Pioneer Harlot", girl!!!"
Tee hee. Wonder if she will laugh or delete me as a FB friend... Eek!
