  i work with a guy who sleep with a lot of different woman, and when i say a lot, i mean a lot!

  i know what some are thinking, "oh he probably sleeps with a few and makes it sound like more.

  " well i would think that too, if i did not actually meet a lot of these woman and work with some of them and they admit to sleeping with him on a regular basis.

  premiscuous sex can lead to UNSAFE sex and that can cost you your life, in both sneces of the word

  Yeap, if you are incredibly stupid, and wanna catch something. Unsafe sex seems to happen more when there is a need to hide.

  I am boringly in love with my man, never been promiscious, (what a painful word to spell) but have many friends that have f****buddies as misspeaches calls (love it), they don't have to bow down to the MAN in their lives, they are free to rule their own lives.

  FlyingHigh - good for the ego, good for a laugh, poor wee fellas. Wanna find a fella, come to this town. I found mine in the city, or though his JW family are all from here. The pickings for the guys who wanna pick up a guy is pretty slim. Alot of rednecks here abouts or aleast they think they are REAL men.

  Before I met my boyfriend I'll admit that I had a few f***buddies on the go.

  This isn't promiscious, this is having an agreement between mates.

  He's bragging about it? Real men who are good at this stuff don't need to brag. Do these woman really go back for seconds?

  He must be bloody fantastic...

  A lot of people, mostly men, but even some women view women as objects. That is what I have a problem with.

  I agree, I live in a mining town, 3 men to 1 women. Get the picture...

  Love, adoration, admiration, lust, magic and fun all rolled into one: to me that is superior and the optimum. Take the love out of it and it's just not the same.

  This is the best, and the best way to get the best. Wouldn't trade my man for any of the offers we girls in this town get.

  but for god-sakes, can they at least stop treating their bodies like a pleasure toy.

  no! why should people slap themselves for having fun? what is so sacred about our bodies? if ones body is a pleasure toy, i'd say they are a highly evolved human who is getting it right.

  Our bodies are a pleasure toy, we laugh, that sure as hell feels good. We share hugs, again, feels great. Sex is only part of the pleasure toy that is our body. Have you had a massage? (NON-SEXUAL), feels great.

  I'm not into the one-night stand scene, not me. But don't attack anyone for doing what they like doing, as long as they look after themselves and are safe.

  npr has revived an old radio thing from the 50's called "this i believe".

  the one yesterday had penn jillette (kind of my hero anyway) getting around there requirement for a positive assertion of faith, by saying he positivily believes there is no god.. anyway, it's now become my favorite essay.

  Believing there's no God means I can't really be forgiven except by kindness and faulty memories. That's good; it makes me want to be more thoughtful. I have to try to treat people right the first time around.

  Police caution woman for breastfeeding in public!

  i just watched the local bbc news and there was a story about a woman who'd fed her baby while sitting on a public bench.

  she finished and was on her way when a police car drew up beside her and asked her to stop.

  there had been a complaint.

  Yeah so is taking a leak, try doing that in public and see what happens.

  Breastfeeding likened to taking a leak in public, hmmm... not sure there is bi-product left behind from breastfeeding unless you count baby vomit.

  We've been asked to leave MacDonalds here in Aussie, because a friend chose to breastfeed her screaming baby in the air-conditioning, not outside in the car. She was very discreet, covered her shoulder and bub up with a blanket. Manager was a client of mine, now no-longer, I can be in-tolerant too.

  Please help me, I need advice on dating a JW!!

  ok, i'm new here, so please be gentle.

  maybe the advice i need is somewhere else in this forum, but i really don't want to have to search for it, i really need some advice now and i don't have the time to sift through all of the other entries here.

  so please bear with me and share any and all advice you have, even if you think it's not what i want to hear.

  Super_Becka, please don't go in to a commitment thinking you can reform this teeny tiny little flaw in your man.

  Please re-read the above from Jgnat.

  Super_Becka, being JW is a cultural difference, (the difference between being married to a orthadox Catholic and Muslim from diffirent countries is easier to cope with. I was married to a Muslim from Albania and my Dad's Catholic, so have a bit of idea). It has it's own language, rules, are definilty more confusing.

  Think long and hard if you want to spend the rest of your life fighting over the holidays. ; And blood transfusions. ; And how your children will be raised.

  Life is hard enough without adding these into it.

  We have put lots of things in place to deal with the above. Living wills etc.

  That education I didn't get....

  yeah, so instead of moping about being discouraged from pursuing higher education i've decided to take advantage of this new freedom and have enrolled myself in an undergraduate degree.

  i'm going to start on it part-time, and study via correspondence.

  the materials for my first unit arrive next week and i've been gearing up for it for a couple of months starting with some short study skills practice; trying to get my dried-out brain working again.

  Hey Jeff

  Why is it too late for you to get an education? Mum got her second degree at 51. While working, huge vegie gardens, AND looking after dad.

  She got her bachalors in Agriculture, at 28 while pregnant with my kid sister, us two older brats, working the farm (Calving time during her exams) and working part-time at the corner shop. Oh and looking after my dad.

  Education is anytime in your life and all the time in your life.

  If you want it, go get it.
