  Proof the GB does not really believe the end is comming.....

  if you were a leader of a small group that should survive a worldwide disaster and will be left on their own, not being able to use now common services would you:.

  a) encourage your members to learn all possible skills and to get all possible today available education, maybe even organized "who will learn what" to cover really every aspect of future life and to be really prepared ..... or.

  b) discurage your members from education, letting them just sit home or at meetings and keep repeating: "the end is comming, the end is comming ... be ready, the end is comming...".

  This was one of the things that initially got me thinking "independently." Through my undergraduate education, I came to realize just how complex today's society is, with all the components that make for a thriving community. The Society portrays the New System™ in vague, obscure terms, glossing over many important details.

  Even a simple agrarian society depends on demand for goods and specialized trades. The economic and administrative institutions you would need for that simply don't exist in the Society's La-La Land.

  i heard an interesting interview yesterday of british rower roz savage, who rowed across the atlantic and is targeting the pacific.

  she has written a book called rowing the atlantic - lessons learned on the open ocean.

  in the interview, she talked about how she was stuck in the corporate job rut and an unraveling marriage; she sat down one night and wrote two versions of her own obituary the one that she wanted and the one she was heading for.

  was at the kingdumb hell yesterday after a gap.. paragraph 11 planted the seed in the sheeples' heads for this.. remember last weeks study, where martha was quoted as saying: "i know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.

  " (jo 11: 24) the term "last day" was explained as applying to the millennium, in the same way as "judgment day" for those receiving an earthly resurrection.. now for paragraph 11 - i noticed some bemused faces, as usually john 6 is avoided in articles discussing earthly resurrection:.

  " "the bread that i shall give is my flesh," he said.

  What is the latest weekly schedule for Dubs these days?

  it's been many years since i went to a meeting and my last ever contact was 1 afternoon of a d/c circa 1994, so what is the latest weekly schedule that dubs have to turn in these days?

  in my time it was .

  1) tuesday evening book study in someones house (1 hour).

  sounds like everday weather here

  I live in a notoriously sunny area of CA, and it seems like we only get a few days of solid rain per year. It drives me mad!

  thanks snowbird...but im not

  i want to live on the earth with all my buddies....playing footie yay and horse riding etc.....

  dont want to be in the clouds looking soooooooooooo many feet below.......i'd be the only angel who never moved from that cloud....lol

  JWs don't believe in angels in clouds. That's Christendom-talk. Don't you know that?
