Just got a job offer!
by daniel-p ini am one happy clam!
just got a job offer at almost 10k over my current salary plus another 10k after 2 years.
it's with an agency that would afford me many more professional opportunities, transferability, and promotion potential, and, most importantly, provides excellent benefits and job security and comes at a time when i need an offer since my current company is closing soon.. also, one of the more awesome things is that this job is under the dod, so i can stick it to the watchtower!.

This is just about the best I've felt in a long time. I've had some pretty low lows in my life, and I'm beginning to believe in equally high or higher highs! Wouldn't that be great, if things worked out that way.

I would like to be an ex-atheist (or ex-agnostic, whatever), but sometimes the "answers" feel more empty than what I have now, which is a searching. For now, a life of searching is more fulfilling than a life of having answers.

Why is god hiding?

he could have left incontrovertible evidence of his existence.he could have made it impossibly evident that mankind has been here only 6000 years, not the 200,000 give or take, that fossil evidence supports.
he could have provided evidence through jesus to millions of non-believers, instead of focusing on a small band of fanatical followers eager to point to 'the messiah'.he could at any time, being the ultimate of beings, just simply show himself in the sky, speak to millions instead of to the lonely occasional deluded sheepherder in the desert, or provide miracles to millions of us as observers - part the ocean, cure cancer and announce it from heaven in a clear unmistakable voice, or instantaneously stop starvation and plague in it's tracks.

God is not an easily definable concept. So "finding God/Jesus" is inherently personal and unique. There is little we can learn from the experiences of others in doing so due to that uniqueness.
