  Writing Department Acronyms

  a while back i remember reading something about the acronyms different staff members of the writing department uses in their letter replies.

  such as: "xxx-xxx" or some format like that.

  anyone know where i can get my hands on that list that said which members used which acronyms?

  150+/200 New Congregations in US are Spanish

  i have a friend who speaks spanish and likes to go to their meetings once in a while.

  she was visiting a nearby congregation who was having their co's visit and he mentioned that out of 200 congregations that were formed in the states last year, 150+ of them were spanish!!

  this, of course, was mentioned in light of how fast the spanish are growing, but all i could think about was that if the spanish consists of so much of the growth in the us, then the english congregations must really be doing horribly in order to break that 0% growth!

  Fulfillment of Prophecy

  ok, i'm going to try to phrase this as articulately as i can - i'm not completely sure what i'm asking here, but if you have any thoughts on the matter please comment.

  my question is this: do you ever feel like all that wt prophecy about the fall of babylon makes sense when you watch the news or read the newspaper?

  sometimes a member of my family or a friend will rattle off on some bit of news they heard regarding the pope or a country's leader that seems to fall in line with the watchtower's take on revelation and i get all alarmed and alert - sort of a subconscious reaction.

  and what a valuable provision his death is!

  when we see it as a part of god's solution to the complex problem of adam's sin, our faith in jehovah and his way of doing things is strengthened.

  for those who recognize quackery in the medicinal form: .

  do you find a disproportionate amount of witnesses - primarly older women - promoting and peddling miracle cures?

  or do you think the occurence is the same as outside the organization?

  i am forcing myself to do this - i feel nauseated, depressed... my hands are shaking.

  i know many of you see this and laugh.
