i'm not much of a poet, trev is the writer in this house, but i wrote a few lines earlier today about my feelings for him and my friends on the board, and he is encouraging me to post them, so here goes.

Thanks Emo, I don't write much. It's the first poem I've ever written that anyone apart from Trev has seen, and he had to twist my arm a bit to post it.

i got to wondering how you feel things have improved or not on a personal basis for you compared to last year.

have you got further in any goals you have set for yourself?

are you happier/less happier etc?

Here's mine

Mentally: 5 Well free of the wts now, but a few other worries at present
Financially: 10 No problems there at all
Emotionally: 9 I have had so much support, not much of a problem
Sexually: 10 For the weekend
Friendships: 10 I have many more genuine friends now than I ever had as a jw
Family relationships: 8 I get on fairly well with my brother
Work/Occupation/Education: 6 I am ok with my job, but I have been thinking of a career change for a while

Experts on 607 BCE--How do you make the point simply and effectively?

i have been going back and forth via email with a jw friend.

the subject got around to 607 bce, so i asked her if she could find a non-wts source to prove that date.

of course, she writes back telling me about all the complicated info.

Make that no jws Outlaw. It's unexplainable because it's false. Jerusalem was destroyed in 586/587 BC. That is a proven historical fact, acknowledged and accepted by everyone apart from the watchtower. They know it as well, really, but they have too much to lose by acknowledging it. To do so might have a devastating effect on a few of the prophecies they claim to have been fulfilled in and just after 1914. I doubt they'd be able to explain such a monumental mistake with the new light trick, so they will keep quiet and hope not too many of their mostly-blind followers do enough research to see through their deception.

We were Invited to ask quetions..Fred E.Hathaway made the request,it`s his thread..So we asked questions..So far,no intellegent response from Fred..Not one..6 pages of nothing..

That's exactly right Outlaw. There have been over 100 posts on this thread, and Fred has made around half of them, and so far, he hasn't said anything. He certainly hasn't been too quick to answer any of the questions posed.

Fred, have you been reading defd's posts?

The reason I ask is because you are so like him. He would start threads like yours, invite people to ask him questions, then avoid answering them.

I think you are just trying to have a little fun at our expense. You knew very well what sort of questions you would be asked, and you obviously have no intention of answeing. You started this thread a day or two too early, it would have been more appropriate to post it today, I suspect.

The title of your thread is misleading. You invited us to "ask Fred E. Hathaway".

While it's true you didn't indicate what it is you wish to be asked, you are well aware that you posed the question on a discussion board populated mainly by former jehovahs witnesses. Therefore, the questions are inevitably going to be watchtower related.

I have read through the replies on this thread, and seen many questions posed by various members. I have yet to see you answer any of the questions.
