End of quarter 1 Review - survey/poll/quiz - fluffyish

  So we got to the end of quarter 1 2007. How quick was that?!

  I got to wondering how you feel things have improved or not on a personal basis for you compared to last year. Have you got further in any goals you have set for yourself? Are you happier/less happier etc?

  So for anyone who is a couple of minutes to spare this Sunday address yourself to these self evaluation questions:

  On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the not very happy with and 10 being extremely happy with, and comparing with how you felt at the end of 2006, how would you say the last three months have been for you and give explanations where you want to.

  I don't know how you come up with all these cool topics Crumpy. This winter i was supposed to start my furniture restoration projects and i got hooked on this board. I don't regret it though. It's been fun informative and healing for me. So here's the outcome of my indulgences or lack therof.

  Mentally: 8 - the healing and info has been non stop and at 40 I couldn't ask for more Financially: 0- I just finished paying off my credit card. It's been a long winter Emotionally: 7 - It's been better for me than it has in a long time . I've been getting lots of support. Sexually:0- Have been living alone for 4 years Friendships:0- I live like a hermit- I don't know if the board counts> then I'd give it a 9 Family relationships: 7- improved in ways I didn't expect but still needs work Work/Occupation/Education:6- I have taken a break and am ready to go with a new plan

  Mentally - 8 the brain is getting alittle fuzzy

  Financially - 7 still have two kids in college I am in debt up to my neck for.

  emotionally - 8 pretty good.

  sexually - 8 sex is fabulous when hubby and I have time, or see each other

  friendships - 3 still left over from being a JW for 20 years..don't really let anyone close to me.

  family relationships - 3 since I am DA's haven't seen my family in 8 years, but am working on some family that are not JW's.

  work/occupation/education 9 - I do have a fabulous job.

  Why thank you kind sir. I am a fellow hermit so I have a lot of time to think I guess...Its a good indicator of whats going through my mind at any given time! Anyway you and Leslie have been good enough to share so here is mine:

  Mentally: 6- the thought of positive things in the future keeps my chin up (dallas trip and my Bachelors to aim for)

  Financially: 4 - I had some help to pay off my debts last year, but moving to live on my own is proving costly as expected and am probably coping by just burying my head in the sand and not looking at my post...

  Emotionally: 5 - a bit numb at the moment, still not really over the end of my 9 year relationship which ended a few weeks ago.

  Sexually: 8 - a significant improvement on last year!

  Friendships: 7 - some friends in my time have need have been surprisingly supportive and others not so.

  Family relationships: 6 - none with blood family, but luckily both of my ex's parents still care for me and treat me like their own which makes me feel a lot better about myself than I otherwise would.

  Work/Occupation/Education: 9 - work is as dull as ever, but it gives me mental room to think which I need for my degree course which is stimulating me mentally, distracting me from some of my self destructive habits and raising my self-esteem

  work/occupation/education 9 - I do have a fabulous job. Leslie I was hoping you would elaborate - what do you do that brings a 9 out of 10 on the happiness scale????

  Mentally: Span of attention is slowly increasing again. Beginning to look outwards again. - 7

  Financially: Just about holding my head above water following huge re-mortgage to make a settlement to my wife - 5

  Emotionally: A lot better than I was at the beginning of the year (or indeed even a few weeks ago) - 7

  Sexually: Hah! - 0 (but a lot of online flirting going on these days)

  Friendships: Not only only online, but actually mixing with real people too! - 8

  Family relationships: Same. Suffering from mild DMS (Disparaging Mother Syndrome), but have a cool brother. - 8

  Work/Occupation/Education: Much better! New job, new responsibilities, new interests. - 9

  Life is always throwing a curve ball at any one of us but right now things are pretty calm.

  Mentally: 8, I always worry about the kids and grandkids, but myself besides my past from childhood I am doing very well mentally

  Financially: 10, I am out of debt, we have a very comfortable lifestyle and have a good nest egg and things are going well right now.

  Emotionally: 9, I keep putting faith in the Bible and that is my strong hold and especially when things get rough

  Sexually: 10, great wife, for the first time in my life, great sex life

  Friendships: 10, I usually get along with just about anybody, I try to see things from another's veiwpoint and especially if they are acting out of sorts, I try to think that maybe they are just having a bad day.

  Family relationships: 9, I get along with all my brothers and sisters, I am POA and excutor of my fathers affairs, they trust me explictly, I have a great relationship with all of them except one that tried to take over and I won't even get into that, I get along with all my kids, help them wherever we can and go above and beyond for them most of the time.

  Work/Occupation/Education: 10-Work, 10 Occupation, 5 Education. I get along with my co-workers very well, I speak with all of them, we get together often for supper, movies, travel together, pool parties, my wife gets together and plays cards at least twice a month with them. My occupation is great so far, at least I am not swinging a sledge hammer like I did for 15 years in concrete. Education, I try to read a lot but besides my continual education that is mandatory in my business, I don't see the the need for anymore but I am always trying to learn and especially from the Bible.

  Mentally: I am seeing signs of dementia 5

  Financially: Broke as always, but have not gotten any utilities turned off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7

  Emotionally: I laugh more 8

  Sexually: no comment

  Friendships: not sure ........ask my friends 5

  Family relationships: I cant get rid of them 10

  Work/Occupation/Education: Changed jobs for the better 8

  Mentally:		10		Very satisfied. I'm learning real stuff about how to function in the real world.
  Financially:		3		Feeling a little insecure: my disability payments run out in about a year. As it is now, I can't afford an apartment or insurance for my daughter – but living in a trailer gives us a razor-thin margin.
  Emotionally:		10		I'm happier and more confident than I have ever been.
  Sexually:		5		Sex is sparse, but good as always – almost worth the wait.
  Friendships:		5		Few, but satisfying.
  Family relationships:		10		Can't imagine how it could be better!
  Work / Occupation / Education:		4		I hate my dead-end day job, where I was permanently injured, am underemployed, underutilized and possibly underpaid. I'm learning to start my own business, which gives me much more hope but also adds additional stress... for now.

  Hey Gently Feral - you seem to have the most 10's of us all so far. I hope your living and financial and work situations catch up with the rest soon!

  I'm loving the detail in all the answers so far. It's so interesting how you rate various aspects. I'm definitely gonna have to do a re count at the end of June!
