  Summary of "Imitate Jehovah" convention

  this is just a brief summary of the convention this past weekend at the ah in la feria, tx .

  attendance was 1100 and 9 baptized, two of them very young.

  the elder that gave the baptism speech let out that the day before there was 6 baptisms.

  Britain Branch Construction - UPDATE

  definitely something going in the london bethel.. i thought i'd ask them again (and record it again) what the situation was regarding the new britain branch construction work.. i got the same sister (debbie) and here is how the conversation went: .

  me: i've been told that construction of the new branch has been stopped - is this true?.

  debbie: no, it has not ceased, it's carrying on as normal - can i ask where you're calling from?.

  I knew a Debbie in the Cong I was in and she was really lovely, she did go on to serve part time in the London branch office. I also fancied the pants off her lol

  nasa is holding a press conference today entiltled " mars mystery solved".

  speculation is they will announce the discovery of flowing water on mars?.

  the significance of this is that it raises the possibility of possible past life or future existence on the planet.. the rebel..

  Oh dear DJS I simply said the bastards are trying to kill us now, quote for quote, it was my opinion, I never felt the need to "bully" anyone into believing me nor would I want that.

  As for being a victim, I would really hope a comment like that would be retracted by yourself, there are several million victims of this evil cult. Not just exjw's, also the very many people who are being killed on a daily basis. I little forethought before choosing your words would be a very good idea.

  Once again DJS why are you trying to derail this thread? Is this a ruse in the hope of discrediting individuals who don't exactly go by your line of thinking? You of all people should know we we all have free will now we have left the REAL cult, by the way you force your beliefs you actually sound like the elders!

  I detect that this is to serve your own agenda, by discrediting individuals you can have the upper hand, that is actually a bully tactic, and your style of writing especially on your last message is very aggressive in nature! We are looking at the bigger picture, not just Monsanto.

  Why are you focusing on this when the watchtower currently have a hand in killing innocent men women and children?

  Think of this. All those refugees that are flooding into the west are fleeing from bombings, these very bombs are manufactured by all the corporations that watch Tower have invested in. The watch Tower has a huge part in creating this crisis, that DJS is a very sobering thought isn't it?

  DJS. Why did you pick up on the GMO comment when really the bigger picture is the rest of the investments. LIke contributing in thousands of innocent victims being killed right now due to military drone activity, bombs being dropped, artillery, all manufactured by at least three corporations the watch tower have invested in?

  
  

  Why have you took my comment so personally, I don't believe this comment mentioned you? You have your beliefs we have ours, which are credibly backed up. If you want to go on consuming genetically modified foods then that is your choice. We on the other hand choose to avoid GMO's. There is a lot of misinformation out there, which includes big companies like Monsanto recruiting scientists to put a positive spin on GMO,s. Personally I would rather source my information from, say, my local butcher and ground level people who are in the agricultural industry that way we know there is no spin.
