I would assume he meant a Maserati straight six (like the Jaguar engine in the E) as Maser never made a road V-12?
I have no idea who the guy is, (what films did he make?) but I will post this on the historical British section of FChat to see if anybody knows.

I think I stumbled onto the eventual plan for the governing body teaching today.....
by EndofMysteries inon the jw.org site, look at the 2/1/2012 public wt, page 27 of the pdf...section 4"how are jehovah's witnesses organized today".
if anybody noticed, i mentioned i thought that no mention of 'faithful and discreet slave' possibly since 2010 in the public placed wt's.
i've read all of them backtracking to 2/1/2012 so far, and so far, my suspicion has proven true, no mention.

I agree.
EOM seems to make one point which has been totally out of my imagination, though, and it is this: Could they be pondering the notion that the Governing Body would not have to be annointed at some point in the future?
I can hardly imagine this, but they have made radical changes before.

someone calls with a large wedding tent that they would like to donate and set up in the kingdom hall parking lot for the public memorial on friday.
i was amazed how people who came that didnt even know whitney, but simply felt a need to be here and comfort the family.

Any proof that he was a regular publisher? I would love to know, especially if he is an MS.
He had to have been a regular publisher at some time if he were an MS.
I am interested in the fact that he had been removed and publicly reproved - will any of that get subpoened into testimony by the guy's court-appointed lawyers in support of the insanity plea (which I assume will be the defense strategy)?
If so, it should be highly interesting. Clint Heichel may even have a civil case there...

even if they got a million more people a year, that wouldn't make up for all the other all these babies born who won't get warned at all.
so, why wouldn't the big a come sooner then later?.

Which little point would (to a thinking person) bring up the question - OK, then - if Jehovah can read their hearts, what is the purpose of preaching to ANY of these people?

probably not if there was a gun pointed at her.
Technically, at least from 1960s-1970s JW teachings - she would have still been obligated by JW doctrine to scream and fight back.
Who knows? Maybe she DID - and maybe that is what got her killed.
But what is disgusting here is the JW natural urge to make the woman victim the guilty party.
