so, as many of you know, i wrote a letter three months ago and told my family the goods about this cult... i think i was kind enough yet firm enought to get my point across-let's hope so as i'm not exactly ernest hemmingway when it comes to writing.

here's the best part to come of it.

not one of my letters was ever given to the elders; apparently i'm not going to be disfellowshipped for apostacy-which honestly i could give a big rat's ass less about that one, and best of all, the letter has made it even to people that i didn't even send it to which means it's being passed around.

whoo boy good luck... one man may have started it, but remember we are all behind you in this battle. now for the criticism, i completely understand your need to attack and take down this organisation, i too went through that phase... i wanted the GB dead... i wanted to tear down bethel brick by brick... and i have realised that with time, even if the dubs go down, the ones who truly want to believe will stay... no matter what evidence there is, to destroy religion is almost impossible because there are STUPID people out there..... there are people who want so dearly to believe , and want so dearly to be controlled that they will stay. or if it does shut down by some miracle, they will run to the next hellish organisation!

is atheism better than believing in a god who doesnt care?

so here's a sincere question... and instead of pressing my frustrations and blaming god and bla bla bla... i decided that instead of writing letters to an inactive god, i would ask your opinion!!!!!.

here's the question, looking at the world around you, seeing all the pain and frustration, the death and disease, the war and hypocricy, the starvation and disgust; generally seeing that our world is falling apart... if someone were able to irrevocably prove that there was a god, an intelligent creator is you will, would you want to worship him?

if he was there and created all of this just to watch it all implode, would you be able to respect that?

well first off, comparing us to dogs, kinda weird... kinda hurtful!!! but hey, no biggie, cuz i guess i understand the analogy... the flaw here is this.. your argument basically becomes God knows best... actually, thats exactly what you eloquent analogy was.... the problem is, if he really knows best, well, is it really best to allow all this suffering? im speaking solely about the christian god... the next question that arises is this, at least dogs see us and know we exist and do really get benefits from our actions daily... hourly... we supply them with all they need to live... god on the other hand is allowing all the pain and suffering highlighted above and really not showing himself as present or even existant... so i guess he either has something to hide or he isnt there...

and the most important of all, if he really is there, he is allowing all this suffering... why? because he wants to prove a point? i don't want to believe in that!

the tribulation is really starting to speed up it's pace.

i just read that atleast 3 types of animal and plant life go extinct every hour.

global warming threatens the entire planet, crimes against women and children are at a all time high, honeybees dying off for unexplained reasons, the threat of nuclear war, the ravage of infectious disease.

aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh save me jebubba!!!! i dont know what awae you are reading, but just so you know unbaptised, every other week those exact words were published in the watchtower... i read it every other week and even used those exact lines on people at the door... guess what, the world is not getting worse, the WTBTS is getting old, scared and trying to make things sound worse.... like already stated above, animals die, people will always fight and always have... and the biggest thing you said, that crimes against women and children are at an all time high, take it from someone who went through crimes against children, the place they are at an all time high is within the society! look up on the net, your society just settled a claim for millions of dollars for pedophelia...

hey i definitely appreciate your honest opinion here...

like i said before my intent here is purely sincere... i want to learn what people think and believe and appreciate that! also i would love a little friendly debate... and as warlock stated, unfortunately, we go into this debate with little evidence, nothing but opinion really! i like that! theist or not, we need to realize that it all comes down to opinions...

personally, i would rather not believe in someone who would create all this and then let it go to shits like it has... but of course, we have pushed in that direction ourselves... so if there is a caring being out there, i guess his best argument is that we did this to ourselves.. my argument back would be, but you can fix it and dont... you let children die of painful diseaeses and starvation... that hurts me...

i believe that we are all subject to either god or man but man is very limited.

as a christian i believe that god is in control.

he did give us free choice to an extent but he is control overall.

i am in control of me, you are in control of you, jesus is dead and god doesnt do anything..... if god is in control and your christian god allows all the stuff that is going on in this world, well i think its time we elect a new leader... and if you come back with satan is in control of whats going on... well again, lets elect another leader who can control it better... since satan is screwing us all royally and god is the one who put him in power... well, i think maybe i should get the power to do something about this mess they have created for us....
