by blueviceroy ini ask myself which is more harmful slavish devotion to chemicals (which is openly discouraged) or slavish devotion to a system of beliefs which is most often encouraged .
i understand the motivations behind doing something that defies common sense and fighting with your last bit of will to continue on a certain course no matter what your concious says.
us recovering from addiction understand it completely.

Favourite foreign languages?
by greendawn inwhat foreign language or languages do you enjoy most listening to, though you may not be able to understand the words?
i find several foreign languages pleasant to listen to, french with its refinement, italian with its sing song musical quality, and german with its coarse but resolute intonation.
i also like the sound of russian and castillian spanish.

For speaking, I love the way Spanish, Italian and Portugese roll off the tongue (tho I have only ever taken Spanish and only know the naughty words in Italian)
For my style of music (metal/industrial) German brings an edge and agression in sound that is insurpassed IMO.

so when he got the chance he would mess with them at the door.
my favorite question he asked 2 sisters when they came.. "if the bible says a wife is to give her husband his due, then do you have relations with your husband because you love him or because the bible says to?".

Exactly! Prefer pre with special fondness for Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightening, but still dig the hell out of the Black Album. I saw them when they were touring in support of Load, the new stuff was pretty top 40, but they still play the old shit with enthusiasm and excellent showmanship. I haven't seen or listened to them with Robert Trujillo on bass.
The appropriate question should be pre-selling out or post-selling out.
