  i am riding on the same bus carrying a butt-load of x-jw's who take exception to the lies and mind-f@#%ing of the org.

  i was blasted by some for asserting that there are hidden and subliminal images in the illustrations used in the wt publications, and that is fine.

  i also understand that there are more important issues than hidden images in the wt publications.

  For me personally, the whole reason I am on this board is just to be able to make jokes about the things I didn't like about being a JW. Becaue we "exes" are the only ones who truly understand it. I am not here to discuss "doctrine" or anything serious cause I gave that up when I left and have no desire to ever discuss it again!

  Something amusing at work today

  i work at an irrigation company as a customer service rep. very boring job.

  but today a client did manage to give me the giggles when he called and said he needed to set up a time for someone to come service him.

  then he said, "oh shit, that didn't sound right, i'm sorry!

I laughed so hard it took about three minutes before i could get his appt. scheduled!

  Any fun plans this weekend??

  with it being friday and i am itching to get off work and have a couple days off... .

  i was wondering if anyone had anything fun planned?

  right now i don't even know what i am going to do.. but i am in the mood for some fun.. any ideas??

  Bunch of friends are meeting here at my place. I made homemade stew, salad, bread. We are eating, then going out and having a few drinks and dancing our butts off!

  food at the assembly

  remember a few years ago 97 and down even more there use to be food at the assemblys(not the big rent-astadium ones).

  i remember back then probally being 5,6,7,8 they use to give out food like hots hamburgers chips and so.

  any idea why there isnt anymore?

  Ok, I have not been to an assembly in 10 years. They don't serve food anymore??? What did they do with the cafeterias built in to some assembly halls?

  From the posts I have read on this Board, you sound like a really funny person and women LOVE a sense of humor. I personally would have thought it was cute if you had said, "Sorry but my conversational skills are very low at the moment but so i have to go but maybe I can get your number and we can carry this on another time?" I would have thought that was funny and honest and you can't get much better than that! Good luck!!

  Well, glad I could provide a good laugh for you! I found it really amusing myself. Actually, my dream is to break into my ex's house, gather up all the porn, sex toys, etc. that I know he and Miss Priss own, walk into the Kingdumb Hall some Sunday morning, stroll up to the podiuom, dump all of it down and say, "Just thought ya'll might wanna know that this is how Brother and Sister Perfect REALLY live!" and then just walk off before they grab me and arrest me! LOL!

  Why not? They will never rule my life in any way, shape or form again. AS a matter of fact, one day I went and bought a vibrator at a little shop and as I was walking out, I saw a JW from my old hall. I just pulled it out and start waving it around saying, Hey, Sister ____, you should go in that little shop over there and buy one of these. It would prolly do wonders for your attitude!" Well, you can imagine the look I got for THAt but man did it feel good!
