Good question. I really have no fear of death itself. I just fear dying in pain. I DO NOT like pain of any kind. Hopefully I will die like both parents and just drop dead of a heart attack. Although shocking for us kids, we were grateful our parents never had to suffer or linger in pain.
Aging?? Well, let's just say that I never realized that I was a vain person until I hit 35. Now I am 37 and I HATE aging! It sucks!
i watched a documentary the other day entitled, devil's playground.
it centered around a few amish youths when they reached the age of 16. once all amish youths reach this age of maturity, according to their church doctrine, they are let loose for an indefinite period of time to experience the world.
this time period, called rumspringa, can last from just a few months to several years.
Yes, that was an extremely excellent documentary. Even my husband (who has never belonged to any kind of church and does not care for relifgion in any way, shape or form) found it compelling enough to watch. I think alot more churches would find their youth more likely to stay if they were given a chance to "sow their wild oats" so to speak and find out if the lifestyle is for them or not

Congrats to you and ALL those who are serving our country and those who have passed away. PEOPLE magazine had a beautiful tribute to those who have dies in Iraq. I looked at it with tears streaming down my face and I said a prayer of thanks for all of you who are so damn brave. THANK YOU

here on the eastern seaboard of oz we've had some really hot weather - at least the suddenness of the hot spell made it seem all the hotter!.
another thing we saw this week was the rural roads around bethel chocked once again with tourist coaches full of bethel visitors who were taking advantage of the "privilege" of visiting the australia branch after the international convention was over.

some months ago i heard that hillary will be drafted as president at the democratic convention.
well, this is no longer a rumor.
on the hannity & colmes show last night, foxnews, this 'rumor' was confirmed to be true.. the reason for the public silence (not told on the show) but by the rumor mill, is to keep hillary on a low profile, not to create a public stir.
Do I personally have documentation of them trahing the White House. Um, no. Did I see pictures of it in Time and Newsweek??? Yes!
