ransom sacrifice question

i faded away about 20 years ago, when, at the age of 27, i decided to go to college.

Sad and True

ah, i am 17 and my mum is just 40.. she hasn't planned for her pension, she won't dedicate to a proper job or anything though i am trying to push her into anything.. the thing is, i don't just want her out of her faith, i want her to have a future where she can live and retire, she can't work forever and what if she got sick?.
ah, it drives me crazy what the witnesses do, maybe one day she might wake up, get angry with the wbt society and sue them!

How many family members or close friends did you lose to the Watchtower?
by JH inbecause of their shunning policy how many family members or good friends did the watchtower take away from you?.
in my case, i'd say 4 good friends were lost because of the watchtower shunning policy.
luckily, i had no family members there

by lola28 inso i woke up this morning and feel really crummy, i don't know whats wrong but i feel like crying.
what the heck is wrong with me?
you know do you have days when you wake up and feel an overwhelming sadness wash over you, or feel like you are kind of empty?.

JW's upset grandfather left house to Df'd family member

my brother told me that his friends grandfather died and that the jw family members are upset that he left his house to his grandson who is df'd.
for the last few years the grandson took him to all his doctor appointments and took him grocery shopping.

When was the last time a witness knocked at your door as a friend, not FS?

although i've been bapized back in 1988, and never was disfellowshipped, the last time a jw came over here as a friend, was about 15 years ago.
oh, and i'm not shunned..... the only witnesses who knocked on my door in the last 15 years, were elders, in "uniform" in the field service.. now, imagine if i was really shunned......

a girl i had been best friends with since I was 6 visited me at my place a few times on her lunch break, we had a good chat about whats new with her life and old times, haven't seen her in awhile although I did invite her back, but another witness found out so I doubt she will be back
