One argument for not denying your child blood is that, the child is not one of Jehovah's Witnesses - he is not baptised. We do not even know that the child will EVER be a Witness. So basically they are denying blood to a non-Witness who does not believe that blood transfusions are wrong.

this is my favourite as it is proof that the watchtower is not directed by jehovah and not preaching truth.

I called the HQ twice about this as two different characters. The first guy said, get this, "I don't know who this is talking about. We don't even know who wrote it." So I pressed him a bit further, then he said, "I said I don't know, do you want me to make something up?" I said, "Did I deserve that sarcasm brother?" CLICK

The second guy said, "1968? Wow that's really old! Why are you reading WTs that are so old? We've never even had someone ask this question before - you are the only one. Bothe calls were ended very abruptly, hanging up on me while I was still talking.

I received a package from my mother today

my dub mother sent me a package today, inside was a nwt bible, a picture of me around age 5 at an assembly - i looked miserable and my dad was holding a battery operated fan in front of me, and a letter, here is the letter.

i ask that you remember that i was 18 when i left and i'm now 42, that there is a total of 8 children in my family and there are only 2 that are still jw's, oh and that my mother is a complete nutcase!

Will we ever be rid of ignorant hicks? This reminds me of one JW belief that I hold very dear. The idea that all religion will be destroyed. I can't think of a better thing to happen to this planet. MMMMM... Please Lord let it come to pass!!!!!

After all, it is written in the Book of Dustwin, but only if you take the first word of every line and read them backwards. Oh, and you have to be a member of the Faithful and Wise Extang (of which I am a member, not you) to be able to interpret the book of Dustwin.

A call to HQ about the settlement

i called hq under this guise: i am an interested person who has two jw'svisiting me periodically.

i think they are very nice people and we have good conversations,but recently something disturbed me.

i was suprised that they had no knowledge of the recent lawsuit settlements and actually denied it was true.

OK, so at least one of you out there sees the benefit of calling the society, under some guise, as activism. Someone out there please explain to me why I have not gotten thunderous response to my past posts about callng the society as activism.
