Flipper Jr. & Flipper Sr. Leave Child Abuse News Releases at Kingdom Halls
by flipper inof course everyone knows about the news of the candace conti child abuse case which has gone viral , ( one would have to live in a cave, under a rock, or another planet not to know about it ).
that being said - it may very well be that those jehovah's witnesses who do not use the internet, or read newspapers, or in simple english are neanderthal's, still living in the 19th century or before , out of fear of negative reprisal from wt authorities may have not even heard about this case because they are in the habit of not watching the news or using the internet.. so- with those particular type of people in mind my son flipper jr. & myself decided to print up about 20 copies of the candace conti child abuse lawsuit from the england daily mail issue , here's the link : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2160605/candance-conti-molested-jehovahs-witnesses-member-age-nine-wins-28milion.html?ito=feeds-newsxml .. so what we did is since we are doing some out of town jobs in several counties we figured we'd leave these child abuse news releases under jw car windshields at kingdom halls while they are out in field service.
we left about 15 so far at 3 different kingdom halls under car windshields .

It's Time to Pull the Plug on the Watchtower Cult: Are YOU Willing To Do YOUR Part?
by headisspinning into all of my friends on jwn:.
as you know, very big things are happening in regards to the watchtower on a weekly and even daily basis.
they have stepped up their hatred towards those who have left, strengthened their stranglehold on those still stuck in and continued with their harmful policies that damage families, protect pedophiles and sacrifice children.

Sparlock Lives!!!
by Shawn10538 ini was just wondering what kind of interest there would be here on jwn to accept sparlock garden gnomes that i have created.
i have made a clay proto type of sparlock.
i might be willing to "place" them to those interested if there is enough interest.

I was just wondering what kind of interest there would be here on JWN to accept Sparlock garden gnomes that I have created. I have made a clay proto type of Sparlock. I might be willing to "place" them to those interested if there is enough interest. The prototype is very close to the image found on the WT cartoon. I can produce various poses for the doll / gnome. Also various colors might be available. I have also cast a magic spell on the clay so that the gnome will protect any yard from Jehovah's Witnesses,.
Anybody else out there creating Sparlock art? Yeah I'm pretty sure it's illegal but I really don't care. There is nothing that can stop the proliferation of Sparlock art now he has been given life.
I'm also going to start a church that worships Sparlock called the Church of Sparlock. If anybody is interested in becoming a member just PM me. So now they really can't take Sparlock away from us. It is now a religion! We might also alternately call our church Jehovah's Wizards. Our Kingdom Hall can be called Jehovah's Wizards Nests.

I think he probably was a believer. But the doctrine of JWs is not such that he could bring himself out of sin and feel truly wshed and clean. Je probably felt dirty. Maybe he figured he waso dirty he could bever truly be forgiven. he would never again feel the superior feeling of being a Ministerial Srvant, in the one and only true religion. I would say he didn't have grace unfortunately. He didn't believe Jesus Christ would relly look at his sins as white when they should be scarlet. When you are tumblig down a staircase, you might figure you've fallen so hard and far that you might as well hurl yourself on down the remaining steps I guess.
I think his propensity for evil was exacerbated by being in a religion that kept him enslaved and didn't have the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Then there is the lies that we all know as ex JWs are so easy to tell. All JWs lie. They don't know they are lying. I didn't know what a liar I was until I left the organization. It was a slow realization. And when it started to make its wy into my life when I left I had to sit down with myself and make a stand for truth, even when it hurts, or the lie and the temporary relif they provide.
The lying in Longo's case became a real social evil. His lack of self awareness kept him in the dark about his real situation, and what he really wanted out of life. I can empathize with his feeling trappd. Being a JW with above average intelligence, plenty of ambition, I remember feeling trapped myself. Realizing that if I pursued alife in the full time service, what Jehovah most wanted from me, I would probably always be poor.
I remember that grubby feeling of poverty when I was a JW. I remember feeling trapped. Especially when I came home from bethel in 1996, I was so green to the world I didn't know which end was up. Education was what I chose to get myself out of poverty (that still hasn't really worked for me yet but at least I have the self awareness of my situation and I am pursuing the kind of life I want to pursue. This guy had major baggage. He had to unload it. And he did it the only way he could figure out. He was profoundly lacking in imagination unfortunately. Plus the psychosis had become so entrenched that he probably said to himself, "Either I am going to kill or die, but I am going to have my ideal life one way or the other." He chose to kill.

I watched last night and was totally unaware that it was going to be a show about a JW family. I thought it was going to be about Scott Peterson, and case VAERY similar to this one but invilving a family in California a few years ago. The similarities between this and the Peterson case are numerous. It just looked like a good show so I planned to watch it and all of a sudde I'm looking at a New World Translation (cheap paper back bersion) and a Watchtower magazine.
My take on this is that this guy was probably a typical A-type personality with lots of testosterone. He could probably tell you at any given moment how much he could bench. (Although the real guy was tall and thin). But I think to say he was a real c@ck-type. What Randay Watters would call primal. But his true desire was to be rich and successfull. Well being rich and successful requires an education usually. So that was one strike against him. The bit about having a construction clean up company was just TOO FUNNY! BTW
So he was in a religion that would never help him be rich. In fact, it would take him down to poverty if anything. So this was very frustrating. Then cam marriage and kids. But he was still not acknowledging to himself that what he really wanted in life was to be rich and live like a playboy, and his religion was not the type of thing that would help him analyze his true self. he was not self aware. And thre Watchtower just drained him. It took all his time and he couldn't break free to be as successful in the way he wanted to be. He was between a rock and a gard place and he didn't have the psychological or socialogical tools to help himself break free so he began to act out in ways that were unethical. First a little stealing here and there.
Then came his feeling entitled to be rich. he resented his clients taking their time to pay him and this just compounded his now psychosis of failure that he was running from. He was cornered. Between a religion that was blocking him on one side, his family was blkocing him and his own lack of education and self awareness was blocking him. He was really a trapped rat.

Severe Blood Conservation Appears Safe In Cardiac Surgery For Jehovah's Witnesses
by TJ Curioso insevere blood conservation appears safe in cardiac surgery for jehovah's witnesses .
severe blood conservation in conjunction with cardiac surgery is not associated with long-term adverse consequences, according to a new study published in archives of internal medicine.
investigators from the cleveland clinic and the nhlbi compared 322 patients who were jehovans witnesses with an equal number of matched controls.

Yes I am in the process of tracking down all these people, doctors and writers. It's not really new news. There are benefits to doing what you can to avoid a transfusion of donated blood by other people. That has been ADMITTED (for lack of a better term) by ajwrb for years. But the article fails to disclose how handpicking the JW patients who were able to undergo the surgery with the possibility of foreign blood taken off the table affects the results of the study. It also does not disclose how many JWs simply DIED because their particular situation did not allow provision for a doctor to even ATTEMPT a surgery with their hands tied. Non JWs never had to "MAKE THE CUT" so to speak, like JWs did. Some JWs were simply turned down because it was too risky. Those JWs were not even mentioned in the study. Their cases were not wighed into the overall study.
Then there is the whole matter of "What blood products and blood transfusions did the JWs accept?" To say that they did not accept any blood as the article suggests is just a LIE. If there was a heart transplant then the JW received blood from the organ. If cell saver technology was used then the JW accepted an autologous blood transfusion, as Dr. Fridey from the Red Cross has verified. So, there is a lot wrong with the whole thing. It is sad that the m,edical comminity is patronizing JWs and stooping to their level, and lying to JWs about their not receiving blood transfusions when they ARE accepting blood transfusions.
I just want to give a shout out to Danny Hazard for his hard work on the blood issue. He is keeping it alive lately almost single handedly. I know a lot of people hate him on this site, but I love the guy and I respect him. He has been doing more for ajwrb lately than anybody. This Forbes article is going to take a lot of time and money if we want to do it right. Danny has kept up on all the medical news feeds and emails me every case. Plus he comments on all of them and engages the witers and challenges EVERYBODY who supports the JW stance.
So our team really includes Danny. I view him as a very valuable member of ajwrb. Our team is starting to show signs of existence: Marvin Shilmer, myself, Randy, Danny, Sevan and Brigit pretty much are it at this point. So I am putting it out to JWN, as I said before, it's yours to make fail. It is your to mold and make a success. You can join us and be at the top of a growing organization really quick. It is to the point now that we need to get out there and be in the face of these doctors who think they are helping the situation by promoting a type of medicine that hasn't even been defined yet. "What is Bloodles Medicine?" There is no definition for this term out there yet. That is beacause it doesn't exist. There is no such thing as bloodless surgery.. Marvin makes that point very well in his article. Omission, in other words, oh we forgot to tell you that many people who care donated their blood so you can have this NON BLOOD BLOOD. I imp[lore the medical comminuty to cut the crap and break it to JWs that there is no bloodless options available. There is no substitute for blood.

Read what happened in court June 19th & 20th. A summary copied from court documents
by AndersonsInfo inif i understand the documents correctly, the judge's decision froze all watchtower's real property ($1 billion) pending further notice.
see if that's what you understand.
what you'll read as follows is copied by me right out of the documents.. barbara.

I haven't yet spent enough time reading this, but the idea that the Watchtower is not pl,anning or intending to defraud the plaintiff is a terrible presumption on anyone's part. AND I don't see wherte the court has acknowledged that the Watchtower itself is its OWN PRIMARlein holder. The way i understand this is that in ANY lawsuit the Watchtower r4eaps befotre anyone else can.

AJWRB---What Have They Done???
by minimus ini still never really understood what these phantoms ever did.
i've read many praiseworthy comments lauding the site or people behind it.
but in reality, what major good have they done to change jehovah's witnesses' views on blood?.

It seems that Dr. Fridey and Nick Samaniego never gave us the final thumbs up to post the interview on the web. There was confusion between my comminication with Randy over it. I was of the understanding that the videos would remain private until we got that thumbs up. But Randy posted them to be viewed publicly, me thinking that he received the OK from the Red Cross, and I just assumed he had heard from them.
Then I got a call from Nick Samaniego a week ago or so, and he said they had not viewed the interview with Dr. Fridey. So we took it down right away. Just to be safe we took them all down. I apologized to Nick for jumping the gun. We are waiting on the OK to come down at this point. So hopefully they will be back up soon. Nick mentioned that what he heard from the interview was all OK, but the headquarters staff of the Red Cross had questions as to how it was being used.
Anyway, so here we are. I just want to make sure that we are really accepted by the Red Cross and not viewed as some kind of "anti-JW group." this is hard to do because the site is at its core critical of the Watchtower's policies. But we just want to save lives, and I find saving the lives of JWs to be a particularly PRO- JW undertaking. not everybody sees that though.
I'm glad there is interest in this cause, and it does my heart good to see people post positive regard for AJWRB. Frankly I don't know how much longer I am going to be able to do this. I am desperate for money, and I don't get paid for working on this cause. Whatever money has been donated can only be given to me when Randy comes up with or agrees with a particular action. the day to day working on the cause, is un-reimbursable, according to Randy. If there are no ideas on the table then that donation will just sit there until either Randy thinks something up, or I think something up that Randy will pay me for. That means that 90% of the time and resources I spend on ajwrb is completely a labor of love with no chance whatsoever of being reimbused. In fact, some money may be donated to AJWRB, but Randy will have me do free Minds stuff to earn that money, if he can't think of anything to do for the blood cause.
So if you donate to free minds and want it to be used for ajwrb stuff, you must really, really put down EXACTLY what you want us to do with the money, and what things you do not want us to do with the money. No matter what, there is a list of things that Randy has vowed that I will never get paid for, a list that I have never seen and doesn't really exist. So I am actually quite in the dark about what things I do for ther cause that I cannot get reimbursed for. I just don't know and it seems to have changed a number of times since I've been doing this.
keeping my phone on has been a struggle, and my phone is a lifeline literally for 3 doctors who have been calling me. I usually go a few days every other month without a phone. So those are times no doctors can call me and nothing gets done. It hurts the cause when I don't have my phone tuned on. If I get financial help from Randy, as I have a number of times, it doesn't ebnd up helping because, first of all I have to pay it back, and second, it just puts me further in the hole. the donations have been extremely sparce too. In the year I have been working on this only about three thousand dollars have been donated, and 1500 came from one person. This just isn't enough for me to work on this issue. So we may be looking for someone else to take it over soon. That person would have to be 100% finacially responsible and pay for everything himself. That's what needs to happen. Otherwise it's all going to shutdown.

The latest on blood
by PrincessCynic inso the local elders where i live recently had a big meeting with the hlc elders and i got a brief summary of what was said.
thought i'd share.. it seems the jws aren't capable of making a decision based on their personal conscience.
they are confused by the whole fraction thing and end up refusing the lot 'just in case' or accepting some and refusing others making them look like idiots.
