The 6-1-2003 WT does not say UN is no longer the Beast of Revelation or scarlet-colored wild beast. Show we where is said that? The 6-1-2003 WT Paragraph 11: Gog of Magog is identified as Satan the Devil in his debased condition since 1914. As a spirit creature, he cannot carry out his attack directly, but will use human agencies to do his deeds. ]Who will these human agencies be? The]Bible does not give us details, yet it does give us certain indications that can help us to identify who they will be ]As world events unfold in fulfilment of Bible propecies, we gradually get an ever clearer picture. Jehovah's people avoid speculation but remain spiritually alert, fully aware of political and religious developments that fit into the framework of Bible prophecy. First it seem to me that they are ignore the words “Bible does not give us details, yet it does give us certain indications that can help us to identify who they will be”. This help me to see, that the WT is not going into a detail discussion on the identify or the indications of this instrument in the Bible at this time. The words Bible “does give us certain” show that they are aware what the Bible has to say on this matter. As for the words “As world events unfold in fulfilment of Bible propecies, we gradually get an ever clearer picture”. All this statement is showing that we will in the future definitely know the whole picture. The next statement show me that nothing has change on this matter “Jehovah's people avoid speculation but ]remain spiritually alert, fully aware of political and religious developments that fit into the framework of Bible prophecy. We are still fully aware what Bible prophecy has to say on this matter, we just do not know how it will fully be accomplish in the future. This is because prophecy is best understood after it is fulfill. Notice that the above statement is in reference to the "King of the North" and it's identification... The identity of the scarlet colored Wild Beast is the League of Nations followed by the UN . The June 1st 2003 article there is absolutely NO mention of the UN in that article. The focus of the article is "Gog of the Land of Magog".....and has no reference to the UN. See what you are trying to do is take Gog of Magog from books of Ezekiel and Daniel prophecy which deal with the King of the North and try to say this is the same subject as the Beast of Revelation or scarlet-colored wild beast that deal with the UN. Not really, we know that the King of the North will be used in the attack of God’s people. That still not changes that the UN will be used, we are no long sure who the King of the North, who also hate God’s people. So King of the North does not change what Revelation said about the UN. The 6-1-2003 WT is not a change or new light about the UN. The 6-1-2003 WT is only dealing with Gog of Magog in the books of Ezekiel and Daniel prophecy. You can not say just because the WT is talking about a different prophecy and say that this also include another prophecy. I call that spinning what someone is talking and adding your own meaning. Which all have right to do but that does not make it true.

there appears to be "new light" in the latest watchtower magazine (june 1st 2003 issue).

several watchtower publications for the last 50+ years have said that the united nations (u.n.) organization ("the scarlet-colored wild beast" of revelation) would definitely be the organization that will carry out jehovah's judgment on "babylon the great" (false religion), and then, under satan's [gog of magog's] direction, the united nations organization would become "greedy", and try to attack the remaining remnant of the "anointed" jehovah's witnesses and their companions, the "great crowd" of "other sheep", and then jehovah and jesus would destroy the united nations organization, along with everyone else who was not a jehovah's witness.

More than just two Birthdays in the Bible!

the society, in defence of their stand against birthday celebrations, often state that the only two birthdays mentioned in the bible were of ungodly people and that harm resulted both times.. however, depending on which translation you use, there are at least five birthdays mentioned in the bible and, interestingly, these additional ones are all of jehovah's servants!.

even the new world translation has a third birthday celebration that jw's rarely, if ever, speak about.. .

please note that not all translations are accepted as 100% accurate by jw's and that i myself am not completely sure that these extra birthdays are truly what they seem - i simply state that they they are recorded there as birthday celebrations.. .

I know there are those who try to say in the book of Job that his children had a birthday. But the scriptures do
not say they were a birthday. The Bible does call it a feast that went on of days. They try to say it is a birthday
because it use the phrase "his day". Which could mean his birthday, but it could also mean a set day each of
his children have chose to have a feast. There is no proof that his was a birthday, but I rather go by what the
Bible call it a feast not a birthday. What are the other two birthday you say are in the scriptures? Thank you,
