Church yesterday was excellent then lunch with Christian friends we discussed so much...........I heard of a man Nicky Cruz. what an amazing story www.nickycruz.org

This man was once described as the 'son of satan' He met David Wilkerson a skinny street preacher who showed him relentless love.Nicky beat him up,spat on him,and threatened his life.Yet the love of God remained-stronger than any adversary Nicky had ever had encountered.

today Nicky reaches out to todays youth because they relate to his background.

Jehovahs way of Salvation..............

The "Trinity" doctrine blasphemes Jehovah and Jesus.

this is the last time i will post or read about the "trinity" doctrine because in my mind jehovah and jesus has enlightened me to see the real source of the so-called holy trinity.

satan is the originator of this unbiblical doctrine.

after i left jw's i felt i had to accept the trinity doctrine in order to be "saved".

There was plurality in the Godhead in the OT.'Elohim'-translated as God is plural.Genesis 1:26 "US,and "OUR"Genesis 3:22."One of US".Genesis 11:7-8 "US".2 Samuel 23: 2-3 "The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me,andHis word was on my tongue.The God of Israel said,The Rock of Israel spoke to me:He who rules over men must be just,ruling in the fear of God"-------------THE FATHER-the God of Israel,the SON the Rock of Israel,and the SPIRIT.proceeding from the Father and the Son,who spoke by the Prophets.Genesis 1:1-3.The work of the Trinity.John 1:1-3.

Paul in 1 Corinthians 8:5-6 contrasts the polytheism of the heathen with the One God of the Christian ,yet he refers to to Father and Son.

Ephesians 3:9.Hebrews 1:2,He created all things throught the Word,which began with "Let there be light"Hebrews says "To the Son He [God the father] says.."You Lord,in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,and the heavens are the work of your hand"--------------

Once you take off the WT glasses you can see the Trinity clearly everywhere.Though the word Trinity is not in the Bible.

I listened to a very good talk on this by Dr: Martin Lloyd Jones he says the doctine of the Trinity ,is the very heart of the Gospel.I would reccommend listening to this.just look for the Docs site .

Not everyone believed in Jesus the first time around.............

60/70s,many were searching for the meaning of life................me too. did they find it?

After JWS again I asked questions,did a short course at college ,met up with Bhudhists,Pentecostals,atheists,protestants.a mix.I thought I would be the only crazy one there............not so,some had to come off the course and have counselling,(counselling for beginners was my course).

I learned alot here about myself/others.I talked about being a JW,got some interest from the Tutor who asked for more info so I gave her Jerry Bergmans book and the Panorama tape,also some bits and pieces.This helped them.In my assignments I was adamant that I was a Christian so I gave a good witness for Christ.This was readily accepted,we all accepted each other.

The atheist and I became good pals,I told him I did not want to be the God of my own universe he said he did,he worked with down and outs/drug addicts/alcoholics etc:(Christians do also)This was his background.We shared many stories..............

Who knows if he will later become a Christian? he certainly was showing interest,sowing seeds,this is what we Christians do.

John 14:27,"Peace I leave with you,My peace I give to you,not as the world gives do i give to you .let not your heart be troubled,neither let it be afraid.

I don't mind being ignored or laughed at.............I'll be a fool for Christ anyday.

I can identify with some of what you wrote.I raised 4sons on my own since my divorce,I lost my home,was destitute then along came the JWS........

When my sons rebelled against the JWS years later I was like alunatic,even chased one son with a mop to stop him joining the skinheads he got involved with.My other son discovered drink and girls,drugs.another drink and fighting,the other just loved women....I had afew years of HELL.But I persevered because I loved them.They are all going to die at Armageddon I thought,and began to have nightmares.

Today they are brilliant all settled ,with families of their own,all own their own homes,put themselves through college (something I did not encourage).They are not Christians yet,but they do believe just want to find their own way...

People argue,differ,the Gospel is simple.........wonderful Good News about our Saviour who died for us to reconcile us back to God who will make all things new.It is men who complicate everything....and old crustyface.

Collossians 1:15.He is the image of the invisible God,the firstborn over all creation,16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on the earth,visible and invisible,wether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers,All things were created through Him and for Him.17,And he is before all things,and in Him all things consist.18.And He is the head of the body,the church,who is the beginning,the firstborn from the dead,that in all things.He may have the pre-eminence.19.For it pleased the Father that In Him all the fullness should dwell.20.and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself,by Him,whether things on earth or things in heaven,having made peace through the blood of the Lamb.

There are many things in my life I am now ashamed of have repented of.In my childhood I experienced hardship,know what is is to be hungry,see violence,many things I won't mention here,My Mother died in my arms,My sister died aged 37 my brother aged 6 months,aunts/uncles/cousins/friends .I have been to so many funerals .Seen the confused faces,heard the questions............what's it all about?

When we come to the foot of the Cross,when we repent of our sins truly from the heart,we are forgiven God has washed all our sins away by Jesus blood.Ephesians 1:7 ............gone...........

If we confess our sins,He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.(1 John 1:9).

Just give yourselves to the Lord in prayer talk to Him.Give it all over to Him your life,your all,your everything and you will have such peace in your souls.In the world we have tribulation but Jesus has conquered.

You will go to heaven when you die IN CHRIST.then the promise in Rev 21: New Heavens,what will this be like? I don't know.But I know that God will wipe away every tear and that there will be no more death,or mourning,or crying or pain,for the old order of things will have passed away.

Revelation 1:8 "I AM THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA THE BEGINNING AND THE END says the Lord, WHO IS AND WHO WAS, AND WHO IS TO COME THE ALMIGHTY "

ok so its nearly christmass and i'm thinking of celebrating it for the first time, but i feel alittle wrong in doing so, i know all the witness reasoning of why its wrong and just wondered what your reasons are as to why its right!.

i have a 3 year old little girl and would love to make it nice for her (tho my family would go mad!

) im thinking of getting a baby tree (one that can easily be hidden!
