this has taken a lot of courage to post.
my life with the jws has been one hardship after another.
i am sharing this to help others see that jws claim to be loving and forgiving people while they are not.

today is the anniversary of my only sister's suicide four years ago.
she was 38. i've had a candle lit for her all day long.
i've been playing her favorite songs...livin' on a prayer by bon jovi.

why did it take so long?
because i was afraid.

I think I understand some of what you are feeling.After all of this time,it's so hard for me to look back and realize that I wasted so much time and energy on something that was so wrong.I feel like I was played a fool-and that's always painful to realize.
I think the anger is a part of the recovery process.Maybe we need to feel it,in order to be able to put our past's behind us.

Seriously though,it seems to me that noidea is trying to say that it's wrong for anyone to ridicule anothers beliefs,especially if the subject is not trying to push his on others....I enjoy watching the ones who come into chat or on the board and try to preach to us get ripped just as much as anyone else,but a lot of us could be a little kinder to those who are genuinely searching for honest answers....Most of us mean well,but often we're a little overzealous too.....
