So did I! Until I investigated the foundings of the Watchtower! The Apostle Paul said- "Don't believe any new teachings." (paraphrased) Well- if The Witnesses aren't a "new" teaching I don't know what is!

I mean- If their teachings are valid ( and I know they are not) Where was Jehovah for 1800 years! Did all those people form Jesus till the WTBTS find themselves DEAD? no! that's plain rediculous... Biddie

The WTBTS is guilty of many things! One of which is false prophecy. If you research the beginnings of the WTBTS you will "see" that one of the biggest problems wiht the Witnnesses today is that they have "forgotten" what they have proclaimed in the past! Over and over they have been false "Witnesses"! and they now proclaim that they don't follow the teachings of their founder Charles Taze Russell! Many Witnesses don't even know how the organization was founded! Biddie...

How do I support JW other half?

just lately my soon to be mother in-law is giving my other half an incredibly hard time.

she is crying all the time about us, trying to get his siblings to spy on us.

ringing when she knows both of us when we are home together.

As I said before, if you "go" you will be telling her/them that you are interested in their organization, and that is detrimental to what you want.

Or so it seems. If you have any knowledge of the truth behind the witnesses you don't want them to go... I was brainwashed as a kid in the "Kingdom Hall" and can tell you it messed me up good.... biddie

I would suggest not going to any meetings with her... all that will do is strengthen her resolve to keep going. The best thing you can do is let her go and start praying that she sees the falsehood in the organization.
