i do not believe this, for the following reasons:.
first of all i think that the issues that come out are actually few, if you compare it to the number of things printed, done etc.. like the un thing.

Lo' and Behold - I start hearing Kingdom Melodies in the coffee shop.....
by AK - Jeff ini was peacefully reading an old copy of stephen cox' article "can the truth survive the internet", and all of a sudden i realize that the instrumental music playing is the d*mn kingdom melodies.
it was actually pretty good.
it was that instrumental cd released sometime back with a lot of harp, piano, and woodwinds in it.

I can picture your 10 year old....I think that I would have had moist eyes.
I heard that Barnsey was pumping at Twin Towns. Maybe your daughter is the equivalent of his Tin Lids. He just refuses to grow old.

by carla inwould you, as an ex jw, care to tell an editor why the ap story is important?
try and keep it somewhat short, unless of course you have lost a loved one due to the misinformed hlc or elders.
whatever you can say to help convince the editor that this is an important story to run.

Even in little old Brisbane Australia we have heard of the Chicago Tribune.

JWs knock on my door three times in one week
by Sirona inmy husband is off work at the moment recovering from a double hernia operation.
the jws knocked one day and our friend, who was here doing a bit of painting for us, answered the door and simply told them he wasn't the householder.. then at the weekend, early on a saturday morning, they knocked again.
i was in my nightclothes and had only just gotten up, or i would have answered.

Billyboy. I agree totally with you - "what would be the point?"
Unfortunately, the Watchtower Society does have a point. Publishers who disassociate themselves are disfellowshipped. Witnesses who decide to no longer associate or be part of the Society are disfellowshipped and shunned by even their own families. Once you are baptised you are done for. There's no easy way out.
But members never semm to find out until it is too late, I sincerely hope that this hasn't happened to you.
