by DeusMauzzim inthis feeling that you have seen it all, that there's nothing more in the universe to live for.... i know that it is rubbish, i know it's related to post-exit syndrome.... but how do you deal with it now?.
it's just so ridiculous to have the feeling that you're life is over at 19... but i can't help it.. help me!.

Has anyone here used a cleaning service and what do you suggest?
by restrangled inoh boy do i hate to ask this question, but due to not being able to bend down or lift right now my house is going to hell!
the floors especially.. i hate dirty grout, and the kitchen is my biggest problem.
have you hired a firm such as merry maids etc, to help you out temporarily?

I hired a small local service to clean and was happy with them. I found them through an ad. Google'd them to see if there were any complaints online. I called to make sure they were bonded and insured and I asked about immigration status. I especially liked that they used my vacuum, mop, broom so other people's germs aren't spread in my home. And I provided cleaning products that were environmentally friendly, for the most part.

Is Fading Worth it?
by undercover infrom time to time members of jwd will post an experience of receiving a letter or an email from a still believing family member or friend encouraging them to "return to jehovah" or the "organization".
sometimes an intense amount of guilt is applied to the letter receiver.
guilt for having left jehovah or for turning their back on their family/friends.

I experience the same thing from my family. I guess they don't love me enough to try to 'save' me.

Nearly 30% of my portfolio is in foreign funds. I'm up 9% this year and 25% in the last year. Since the US economy is now a smaller % of the overall global economy, it makes sense to invest heavily in international companies, funds, etfs.

Are we doomed to dysfunction forever?
by tnangel73 ini have had a pretty screwed up life, as a lot of people who post on here have had.
this last year has seemed to be the worst i have experienced.
growing up the way i did, and now seeing how we were lied to, controlled, and not given choices, i now have no trust in anyone or anything.

(( tnangel )) I struggle with trust and abandonment issues and was wondering tonight if I would ever get over them. If it's causing real problems for you, maybe you can get counseling. It's something I'm considering since my self-help attempts aren't working fast enough. Good luck!

I hate Walmart!
by Elsewhere ini rarely ever set foot in the place and will go out of my way to avoid shopping there.
tonight i made the mistake of giving walmart the benefit of the doubt and walked in the door.. they didn't have the main item i was looking for, but they did have one other small item.
i headed to the front to check out only to find they had only a few check-outs open and all of the lines were far too long.

From someone in the know - absenteeism for cashiers is very high - 20%. They are also a tardy bunch.
