  also used were the daniel book, the question box from the kingdom ministry from 1972 till now, subjects from the insight volumes and a lot of watchtower articles.

  i could hardly believe they would have nerve to bring out the revelation climax book.

  but as i thought about it more i wondered if they (gb), in their delusional state, somehow think it supports their claim to power.

  Suicide Prevention

  i just wanted to drop a quick note.

  last thursday a good friend of mine jumped off of a freeway overpass and killed herself.

  ironically it was the same overpass that just 5 years before i had stood atop and climbed the fence with similar thoughts in my head when my family had initially disowned me.

  This is horrible. I get to talk to a lot of my sister in laws friends who are all teenage girls. The one common thread that most of them share is that they all are depressed to varying degrees. Some of them have acted out on this depression. It is sad that this affects so many and I wish I knew what caused it. I am so very sorry for your loss.

  i am a 20 year old baptized wittness who for the past year has been trying to do some serious reserach on all the things i have been made to believe in the wt society.it only makes sense that my research should not only include those in the wt publications and so therefore i need some help:

  1. what is everyone's thoughts on society not allowing brothers to wear beards?

  i read somewhere that russel(society's first prez) had a beard and the second pres( russel) wanted to completely dissassosiate anything having to do with russel and so therefore outlawed against them.

  I have been ds for about 18 months now but when I was "in the truth" there were plenty of brothers in our congregation who had beards, I never remember it being frowned on at all! This is another joke about the religion. I hear this is common in Europe for witnesses to have beards, but in America its a big no-no. They take away all your privleges usually.

  Its interesting. At our local stadiums for football and baseball games it is ok to bring your own food, even bottled water and juices to the games where concessions are being sold. I know that other places have different guidelines, but I was under the impression that it is the teams that negotiate this for their events and not the facilities. In any event, how does this affect going outside of the facility to buy from outside vendors? Surely they don't have any control over who brings what into the stadium.

  all things being being equal, is the feminine gender endowed with more trancendent beauty than the masculine?

  before sending any stock replies like, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," let me just say that i acknowledge some degree of relative beauty insofar as man and woman bear their own distinctive perfections.

  but consider specifically which sex seems to bear more inherent grace to the end that it inspires our sense of harmony and desire to be more perfect ourselves.

  if you are in the uk, check out http://www.multimap.com which has just been enhanced.. the camera (arial map) button will display just that, an arial map of where you live plus as you move your mouse over the picture it overlays the streetname and street map.
