There is no reason the released prisoners will say Guantanamo is a great place even if it is! DUH!!

Guantanamo Bay Suicides - a PR Move

a top us official has described the suicides of three detainees at the us base at guantanamo bay, cuba, as a "good pr move to draw attention".
colleen graffy told the bbc the deaths were part of a strategy and "a tactic to further the jihadi cause", but taking their own lives was unnecessary.

This is an odd example of a Witness at my door, any one heard of this?
by free2beme inabout two weeks ago i was in the front yard on a saturday and washing one of the cars.
i looked down the street and saw two woman in dresses walking from house to house, with a young child in a suit.
of course, i knew they were witnesses and i knew they would be at my door soon.

The woman said, "We are in your neighborhood compiling a list of people who are hearing impaired and in need to communicating with sign language." I was wondering, "What?
Wouldn't that fall under "intruding in their privacy" If the hearing impaired want to communicate with other hearing impaired....they don't need the witnesses hunting them down and asking questions to their neighbors.

i guess that means it a 15% certainty that it won't happen.

Kate, God has been good to me too, BUT that doesn't change the atrosities that happen to innocent people everywhere. I am not thinking of myself, only the innocent who don't deserve the suffering they go through.
From the scripture you posted....God has declared us all evil with some good in us. That is how he thinks of us?

Hi startingover, I ask my JW pioneer friend the same questions I put on this thread and got nearly the same answers as the ones on this thread....I am no longer a JW by choice....I left after I found out about the Malawi/Mexico fiasco. That was the one that broke the camel's back for me. I came to the conclusion that the WTS/GB can not be lead by God's Holy Spirit and allow people to suffer because of a 25 cent Government ID card.

I could go on but you get the gist of it and it has all been said before. The point is people will never find satisfactory answers to the question posed by this thread until they realize that they are looking for God in all the wrong places.
I suppose I am not looking for an answer, but take the occasion to express my thoughts.
However, the reply's are well thought out and I thank each one for their post.

JWs give him way too much power. Watch the show "The Human Behavior Experiment" I believe it is on Court TV. They go in depth on studies that have been done, research experiments, and is very revealing. We can think that we are great people and all, but when push comes to shove we are all capable of evil. Sin lives inside us all.
When push comes to shove, yes we do have sin within our self, inherited from our first parents....BUT wouldn't it have been interesting to find that we don't need Satan to complicate our sins with evil. Like Hitler and evil people from ancient times, OR in our day people who love to torture and kill for the fun of it. I don't think the human race is inherently evil, just sinful. Evil comes from Satan. IMHO
