What an idiotic comment.I'm not so sure it's idiotic. "a tactic to further the jihadi cause" - jihadists are constantly commiting suicide by straping explosives on themselves to further the cause.... usually at the expense of innocent others. Who knows, for those three, it might have been an 'assignment' with the promise of 72 virgins.

Um, yeah, jihadists commit suicide all of the time! This is nothing new. "Suicide bomber," anyone? They consider this to be their highest calling. There is nothing they love more than to commit suicide for their "cause," because then they get to go be with Allah in heaven, get to bring a certain number of souls with them, and get a bunch of virgins of their very own!
I don't think Guantanamo is as much of a hell as some would like you to think... they get to hang out and relax, read whatever books they ask for (I heard that Agatha Christie and Harry Potter are popular choices, no joke) all translated into Arabic, get to play volleyball and all other kinds of things. Believe me, they're fine.

"The Factor" Bill O'rielly went there this past week and most of the detainiees have gained 18 lbs since being incarcerated in that "hell hole", The only time their hunger strick is in effect is when the lawyers show up and as soon as the lawyers and media leaves they resume their eating habits. They are just playing to the media, and as stated; their dream is to blow themselves up and if they kill innocent cilvilians it is more power to them. I would gladly give every single potential suicide bomber a cyanide pill and 2 minutes of prime time air if he agreed NOT to blow a bunch of school children to allah and just peaceably take the pill! Yes it would be better if they didn't feel that they had to commit suicide but I don't see them EVER living a normal life!
Think about it for a second! If the US became completly isolationist and europe as well, pulled all soldiers from every base in the world disbanded the CIA all the jews left the planet and lived on the moon and they were allowed to run their piece of the world as the living hell that they want would they be happy?
