Wow, didn't expect this
by mavie inwell, got a call from my sound assistant...to see how i am doing.. this brother suffers from frequent feelings of low self-worth and is actually one of the people my wife and i feel comfortable talking with.
he asked where i have been...i said taking care of my wife.
i told him that my wife has expressed the very real possibility she will hurt herself to me...and that i couldn't live with myself if i was giving a talk at the congo and that happened.

Strange Sudden DF'ing/Baptism Nullification ATTN. LURKERS
by unique1 inok well per my post yesterday most of you know i was suddenly disfellowshipped after my letter of baptism nullification.
i called the presiding overseer to ask why.
i specifically listed in my letter that i was not to be disfellowshipped nor was i disassociating myself.

to a degree it carries the same weight but in who's mind? For the WTBTS same weight.. but for the regular dub they won't know to treat the individual with the new announcement, they would be like, should i talk to this person? If it was a straight up DF then a dub would stay away from you.

as per 1 year ago - It is no longer announced that X has been disfellowshipped. It is said that x (for whatever sin) is no longer a J.W. Again, this could emcompose the grossest sin.
At bethel, we use to hear many disfellowshippings from the table. As in everyone is tied in (the 3 complexes) and is said that x has been disfellowshipped. Freakin scary! But now, it is said that x is no longer a J.W. It does not carry the same weight but now it could encompass any type of sin.

UPDATE 2: Since Freedom is Free, Why is it Taxed?
by RichieRich inyesterday after school i had to go work on a project with friends.
mom said be home by 5, but there was a huge accident a mile from where i live, and i sat on the road for like 10 - 12 minutes, and was 5 minutes late getting home.
mom was there (didn't go to work- guess why) and she was pissed.

JW's conflict
by cheen ini know a couple of jw's who are also ip's (internet providers), these so called men of high faith allow the worst form of content, including bestiality, and who knows what else to come thru their servers.
wouldn't this be a conflict with their faith and their stance on being "no part of the world", or just another "consience" decision they have to make?
and if it is a "concience" decision, shouldn't all jw's be allowed to make these decisions for themselves such as the blood issue or military service without retaliation from the boe or their fellow r&f jw's?

as far as languages ... the obvious are taken (english/spanish) ... losch speaks a variety of languages (romanian, and ... )... i believe Splane speaks french. Thats as far as languagnes are covered. GB Backgrounds: no mexicans, no asians... as far as witness populations go at least.
